Happy Wednesday!! We are in full force summer break mode even though the first day of summer is still a few days away.\u00a0<\/p>

If you know me at all, you know that in the summer, I am reading as much as possible. Especially when I\u2019m at the beach. I love the books that have to do with beaches or beach towns. They just make me so happy.\u00a0\"\ud83d\ude42\"<\/p>

So, today, I\u2019m sharing with you some books that are on my to-read list for this summer.\u00a0 \u00a0And if you have some you think I should add, please let me know!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>I’m giving you Amazon’s synopsis since I haven’t read them yet.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I enjoy reading Nancy Thayer books because they take place on Nantucket. I typically always read at least one of her books during the summer.\u00a0<\/p>

Despite their differences, the four bond over trips to the beach, Wednesday-night dinners, and everything that Nantucket has to offer. I always read Mary Kay Andrews newest novel in the summertime. Although I do enjoy her books, they are a tad long.\u00a0<\/p>

Hattie Kavanaugh went to work restoring homes for Kavanaugh & Son Restorations at eighteen, married the boss\u2019s son at twenty, and became a widow at twenty-five. Now, she\u2019s passionate about her work, but that\u2019s the only passion in her life. \u201cNever love something that can\u2019t love you back,\u201d is advice her father-in-law gives her, but Hattie doesn\u2019t follow it and falls head-over-heels for a money pit of a house. She\u2019s determined to make it work, but disaster after disaster occurs, and Hattie\u2019s dream might cost Kavanaugh & Son their livelihood. Hattie needs money, and fast.<\/em><\/p>

I have only read one other book by this author, In Five Years<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. I remember it being very memorable and it being one of my favorite books that I read last year.\u00a0 I have high hopes for this one. From the description, it sounds very cute and right up my aliway. \ud83d\ude09\u00a0<\/p>

One Italian Summer<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>

When Katy\u2019s mother dies, she is left reeling. Carol wasn\u2019t just Katy\u2019s mom, but her best friend and first phone call. She had all the answers and now, when Katy needs her the most, she is gone. To make matters worse, their planned mother-daughter trip of a lifetime looms: to Positano, the magical town where Carol spent the summer right before she met Katy\u2019s father. Katy has been waiting years for Carol to take her, and now she is faced with embarking on the adventure alone.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

But as soon as she steps foot on the Amalfi Coast, Katy begins to feel her mother\u2019s spirit. Buoyed by the stunning waters, beautiful cliffsides, delightful residents, and, of course, delectable food, Katy feels herself coming back to life.<\/p>

Rebecca Serle\u2019s next great love story is here, and this time it\u2019s between a mother and a daughter. With her signature \u201cheartbreaking, redemptive, and authentic\u201d (Jamie Ford,\u00a0New York Times<\/span>\u00a0bestselling author) prose, Serle has crafted a transcendent novel about how we move on after loss, and how the people we love never truly leave us.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Susan Mallery is another favorite author. I love all her characters and the way she really interlaces them throughout her novels. I’m excited to read this one!\u00a0<\/p>

The Summer Getaway<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>

I enjoy Christina Lauren novels. I find it very intriguing that it’s actually two authors writing these stories. I’m sure they will dazzle me with this one too.\u00a0<\/p>

Elin Hilderbrand is probably my favorite author even though her most recent books haven’t been favorites, in my opinion. #sigh I’m cheering her on and crossing my fingers that this one pulls her back to a front runner! It came out yesterday, so I’m super excited to get my hands on it.\u00a0<\/p>

The Hotel Nantucket<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/p>

Fresh off a bad breakup with a longtime boyfriend, Nantucket sweetheart Lizbet Keaton is desperately seeking a second act.
