Hello Friends!! \u2026 it is summer time, and my favorite time to read! And my favorite type of books to read. Give me a chair on the beach, with a book, and I can be content for hours.\u00a0<\/p>

Today, I\u2019m sharing some books I plan to read this summer in hopes to give you some inspiration. Most of these are by favorite authors and tried and true. So, fingers crossed, they don\u2019t let me down with their newest reads.\u00a0<\/p>

Some of these books are already out, and some are coming out later this summer. I will specify. \ud83d\ude09\u00a0<\/p>

I just finished reading Darling Girls\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0by Sally Hepworth! It doesn’t really follow a ‘summer’ theme, but I loved it!\u00a0<\/p>

I read Carley Fortune’s debut novel Every Summer After<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>a few summer’s back, and it was definitely a favorite. I recommended that book so many times. So now, every summer, I always try to pick up her newest novel,\u00a0This Summer will be Different<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>

Lucy is the tourist vacationing at a beach house on Prince Edward Island. Felix is the local who shows her a\u00a0very<\/span>\u00a0good time. The only problem: Lucy doesn\u2019t know he\u2019s her best friend\u2019s younger brother. I have also read a few of her recent novels, like One Italian Summer<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0and enjoyed them as well. I’m excited to jump into her latest novel,\u00a0Expiration Dates<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>

I loved Annabel Monaghan’s novel, Nora, Goes Off Script, a couple years back. Her newest novel,\u00a0Summer Romance<\/strong><\/span><\/a> just recently released. I hope it’s as great as the other book I read by her.\u00a0<\/p>

It makes me so sad to write this….\u00a0Swan Song<\/strong><\/span><\/a> is Elin Hilderbrand’s final novel. I have LOVED all<\/del> most of her books. Here’s looking at you The Hotel Nantucket. This one comes out next week, and I’m not sure I’ll read it right away. Or maybe I will. It just makes me sad that it will be her last one. I really hope it wraps them up beautifully and doesn’t let me down. You can preorder it now.\u00a0<\/p>
