\u00a0A lot has been going on around here. I wasn’t expecting to have a 2 week break from this space, but then life happens.\u00a0<\/p>

I went for a “normal” mammogram checkup on September 3rd. I was having some allergy flareups and took some medicine that morning. I started at work that morning and left around lunch to head to the doctor. I snapped this picture right when I got there while waiting. Looking at this pic now, I can tell my eyes were weak, and I remember I did not feel the best.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"\"\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I went from that to this, fairly quickly. One minute I was standing, and then I was waking up on the floor with a gash on the front and back of my head. So embarrassing. Literally wish I could have crawled out of there. Of course they had to follow protocol, called the paramedics, and I went on a great joy ride to the hospital in an ambulance.\u00a0<\/p>

They did lots of tests, CT scan, all the things. Thankfully all looked good. I got 8 stitches near my hairline, and 1 staple in the back of my head. #sigh\u00a0<\/p>

I told everyone I was all ready for Halloween. lol\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Here’s a picture the next day. I am not one to rest. I have a million things going on in my head at every given moment. It’s hard for me. However, I had to have “brain rest” and limit all screens. I took off work that Thursday but still joined\u00a0 a county meeting via TEAMS and just listened in. This pic was riding in the car to pick up Addison from dance.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I had sweet friends taking care of us and sending us meals and coffee.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

That Sunday came around, and my blog has had some weird things going on lately. So, I tried to fix that. Let me put it out there that I am not technologically inclined to do anything. I don’t really understand anything about technology. So, needless to say, I messed everything up, and my blog had random “demo” pictures on it.. kindof like when you buy a picture frame and it has a random family in the frame. lol<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All that said, I’ve spent a lot of time researching and having IT help me try to problem solve and fix the issue. It’s been a process. Meanwhile, I’m trying to get myself well, so it was probably good to have the break anyway. School has been very busy and stressful lately.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I went ahead and changed my blog theme, so you may notice it looks a little different, and I’m also still trying to figure the new one out. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>

With all this said, I had already planned to take next week off. It’s our Fall break, and I just need time with my family. I’m almost back to “normal” if there really is such a thing. I’ve had lots of doctor’s visits, and I still have some more scheduled.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
