Today is all about my desk. So, I’m sharing about my desk at school. My desk at home consists of me working wherever I have available, whether it be the couch, the dining table, the breakfast table, my bed… you get the picture.\u00a0<\/p>

Here’s part of my desk. It has some of my Curriculum binders and Data binders. I was doing some lesson planning and trying to get some probes together for my students.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Here are some of the books that I’ve been using these first few week.\u00a0<\/p>

I love to read How I Spent my Summer Vacation<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and then do a writing assignment where the students write about what they did this summer. I always share what I did with them too! They always love this! We were all lucky to have an extended summer this year! \ud83d\ude09\u00a0<\/p>

I also love to read What if Everybody did that<\/strong><\/span><\/a>? to get them thinking about their own actions having consequences. Everything that they do affects something else. It really makes them think.\u00a0<\/p>

Then, I usually also read First day Jitters<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0because it’s super cute and the kids always love it!\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Here’s an up-close shot of my planner. I love it! It’s actually a Happy Planner, vertical format, but I can’t find my exact one online. #sigh<\/p>

I used to always buy an Erin Condren, but I started getting a Happy Planner, and I love it just as well. They have cute stickers and little fun inserts that are almost just the same.\u00a0<\/p>

I love how my planner is broken up each day by the hour. This is really great for when I have meetings and other events planned. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I’m a little bit of a pen snob. If someone takes my pen, I’m sure by accident, I’m like… uh, that’s my pen. Can I please have it back? #don’ttakemypen\u00a0<\/p>

My absolute favorite are the Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens, Medium Point<\/strong><\/a><\/span>. They don’t bleed through the papers, and I love how smooth they write. A close second are the Paper Mate Inkjoy Gel<\/span> <\/strong><\/a>Pens. Paper Mate just really has it going on.\u00a0<\/p>

I just ordered this<\/span><\/strong><\/a> three pack of scissors. We seemed to keep losing our scissors, and some of them were bent. I found these for an awesome price, and they’ve been great! At under $6, they were a great investment. I kept two pairs at home and brought one to school.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

It’s great for writing my weekly to-do list on, and then I just tear it off at the end of the week, and start a fresh one.\u00a0 It’s a great feeling to have a blank sheet. I also usually have sticky notes all over my desk, but we don’t need to talk about that. You can just call me organized\/chaos.
