**Friday Favorites** {7.16.2021}

Hey Ya’ll!! It’s Friday, and I only have 1 more Friday before I have to go back to school. I’m super sad it’s coming to an end, but all good things must come to an end. 😉

Today, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing all about our favorites from the week!! 🙂

We started off Monday with a shopping trip with Nonna. We had to go to Academy to get some things for Soccer. We made a pit stop at Chicken Salad Chick, and I had some deliciousness! Chicken Salad on a croissant is a favorite, but get that pickle off my plate, pronto!

We left there and went to the dance store to get some new leotards.

I don’t know if you remember me saying that the deer ate all of our green beans. Luckily, my Uncle Rick came to the rescue. We picked 4- 5 gallon buckets of green beans.

That night, we had lots of delicious, garden, fresh food. I made these zucchini fries, and they were very tasty.

Zucchini Fries

1 olive oil cooking spray flavored (4 sprays)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp table salt
3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
2 zucchini medium, cut in quarters lengthwise and then each quarter halved
2 egg white whipped until frothy

1. Preheat oven to 500ºF. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. In a small bowl,
mix together Italian seasoning, flour and salt. Place bread crumbs in another small bowl.
2. Dredge a zucchini fry in flour mixture and then dip into egg whites; dredge in bread crumbs. Place coated zucchini on prepared baking sheet and repeat with remaining ingredients; liberally coat with cooking spray.
3. Roast, turning once, until desired crispness, about 10 minutes.

That night was spent stringing all of the beans. The next day was spent canning the beans.

Wednesday morning, I tutored. Then we went over to my friend Shannon’s house to let the kids play and hopefully swim. The weather was looking really nice until we were about to walk outside to have some lunch by the pool, and it started raining and thundering. What in the world?

So, we came back in and ate our sandwiches. We went back outside. They jumped in and swam about 5 minutes and thunder again. Ugh!

We decided to let them go ahead and have their Ice Cream Sundaes while we waited.

We peeked at the radar and didn’t see any rain around. When we got outside, we could still hear thunder in the distance. We let them run around and play for about 15 minutes before letting them get back in and play.

We were up very early and headed toward Atlanta yesterday morning. Joey had to have a small procedure and couldn’t drive.

Here’s me and little diva killing time while we waited in the car.

When he was finished, he was ravenous. We went and grabbed some breakfast. Breakfast Burrito and Home Fries for the win! Delicious!

A sale is definitely a favorite! And today, Influencer level can shop the Nordstrom sale
