**Let’s Look at…. my desk** {8.12.2020}

Hey Everybody!! Happy Wednesday!! Today, I’m linking up with the bloggers Mix and Match Mama and A Little Bit of Everything for a Let’s Look At… linkup.ย

I hope you enjoy today’s topic… ๐Ÿ™‚

Today is all about my desk. So, I’m sharing about my desk at school. My desk at home consists of me working wherever I have available, whether it be the couch, the dining table, the breakfast table, my bed… you get the picture.ย

So, this is my desk in my classroom. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s part of my desk. It has some of my Curriculum binders and Data binders. I was doing some lesson planning and trying to get some probes together for my students.ย

Here are some of the books that I’ve been using these first few week.ย

I love to read How I Spent my Summer Vacation and then do a writing assignment where the students write about what they did this summer. I always share what I did with them too! They always love this! We were all lucky to have an extended summer this year! ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

I also love to read What if Everybody did that? to get them thinking about their own actions having consequences. Everything that they do affects something else. It really makes them think.ย

Then, I usually also read First day Jittersย because it’s super cute and the kids always love it!ย

Here’s an up-close shot of my planner. I love it! It’s actually a Happy Planner, vertical format, but I can’t find my exact one online. #sigh

I used to always buy an Erin Condren, but I started getting a Happy Planner, and I love it just as well. They have cute stickers and little fun inserts that are almost just the same.ย

I think these two are just as cute.ย
Here and Here

I love how my planner is broken up each day by the hour. This is really great for when I have meetings and other events planned. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m a little bit of a pen snob. If someone takes my pen, I’m sure by accident, I’m like… uh, that’s my pen. Can I please have it back? #don’ttakemypenย

My absolute favorite are the Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens, Medium Point. They don’t bleed through the papers, and I love how smooth they write. A close second are the Paper Mate Inkjoy Gel Pens. Paper Mate just really has it going on.ย

I just ordered this three pack of scissors. We seemed to keep losing our scissors, and some of them were bent. I found these for an awesome price, and they’ve been great! At under $6, they were a great investment. I kept two pairs at home and brought one to school.ย

And this is my other table/desk area. See more pens… ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

I also have this weekly Erin Condren note pad. It’s great for writing my weekly to-do list on, and then I just tear it off at the end of the week, and start a fresh one.ย  It’s a great feeling to have a blank sheet. I also usually have sticky notes all over my desk, but we don’t need to talk about that. You can just call me organized/chaos. Haha!

That’s it for my desk area. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Here are all the topics for the year. It looks like next month will be my school pics….whatever that might look like. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I will see you all back here on Friday for some favorites. ๐Ÿ™‚ย

xoxo
