**Hello Monday** {1.18.2021}

Happy Monday!! We are out of school today, so we are just hanging low at the house. Addison developed a high fever Friday night, so our weekend plans got altered a little. It’s alright though, we were able to get lots of snuggles and rest time.

Friday night, we had a date night planned. My parents were watching Addison and all was well until we got a call later that she had a 101 fever. 🙁

Here we are cruising towards dinner.

So happy to celebrate him! He deserves it all! Mostly for putting up with me! 😉

Our dinner was delicious. I had a salad, Kentucky bourbon salmon and mashed potatoes. So good.

Saturday morning, Addison woke up with a 102 fever. We decided we better play it safe and take her to the doctor while they were open that morning. Luckily, they came back with a positive strep test. We picked up her meds along with a milkshake and headed home.

Finally, about 3, she started moving around a bit. Btw… we love our nugget! I can’t wait to actually move it to the play room once it’s finished, so it frees back up space in our living room. 😉

While I snuggled on the couch with Addison, I caught up with the Bachelor on my laptop. I am loving Matt as the bachelor. He appears to be so genuine and such a good catch…..  I really don’t care for this one,  Victoria. Who even refers to herself as Queen Victoria.  Anyone else watching?

On the way home from the doctor, I popped into Costco to grab a few things. Addison and Joey stayed in the car. As I was walking, I saw this Inversion table. Joey has some back problems, and we have been wondering if we should invest in one of these. Anyone have one or can give advice about it?

Saturday night, my parents brought food over to celebrate Joey’s birthday. We had coconut cake that Joey requested. So fancy, I know. 🙂

Then, we enjoyed a nice evening sitting by the fire.

I’ve been itching to try out my new self tanner, but I knew I needed a few hours at home before showering to try it. Since we were going to be hanging at home, I decided to go ahead and test it.

FakeBake Flawless Self Tanning Spray

Here’s the before….

Here it is just on the left leg.

Here it is on both legs. I am very happy with the results! It comes with gloves and a mitt for application. It was super easy to apply, and the directions were very simple and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend it.

I did a little crafting in preparation of our upcoming Disney trip.

The gold one turned out great!

I’ve got to do some work on the white one… the corners of the A keep curling up.

Sunday night, Joey’s Dad and Christy brought food over to the house to celebrate Joey’s birthday. It was great to just hang out!

We enjoyed our weekend celebrating Joey. I hope you all have a great start to your week! I will be at home working on putting up some shiplap wallpaper on one of the walls in the playroom. I will be sure to snap some pics of the progress. 🙂
