Ending my 14th year of teaching, my heart is heavy you guys. I don’t have the words for the heartbreak I feel for the town of Uvalde, TX. I pray for the precious children’s families whose lives were lost, for their classmates and friends, and for the family and coworkers of those dedicated and loving teachers who lost their lives with the students.  ************************************************** On to hopefully a little bit of joy for you all.  So happy it’s Friday!!! And Labor Day weekend! We are ready for this 3-day weekend! Happy Monday! Well, I am officially back to school today. This week is Pre-Planning, and next week the students return. How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was pretty low-key which was just what we needed.  Friday morning, we went to Aunt Dot’s pool. Addison had so much fun playing with Emma Kate.  My Best Girl  Grabbed a quick snack and back in the pool.  She loved snuggling with Harley. When he left, she cried for like 3 hours. Bless her heart. Hello Friday!! We’ve kind of had a weird week. Two days this week, we had remote learning.
