**Weekend Recap** {8.31.2020}
Happy Monday… Another weekend has come and gone. I don’t know abobut you guys, but our weekend flew by. We spent Friday night just chilling here after a long, busy week. I made a little cookie cake in the frying pan for a little Friday night treat. š Saturday morning, Addison woke us up bright and early at 6 AM. I went ahead and got up and started cleaning and doing laundry, the norm. We all worked on cleaning/packing the camper. I also put out some of our fall decorations. We have had a great week… Addison has had an awesome week being in her new Pre-K class. We love Ms. Jean and Ms. Sam!! They have been sharing lots of sweet pictures of our smart girl! **Girls Lake Weekend Getaway** {8.24.2020}
Happy Monday!! I hope everyone had a great weekend! This was Addison early Friday morning. It was Pajama day at school. š We ended up going on an impromptu girls trip to the lake house. We decided that we were going to go about 12 noon Friday. So, I left work right at 3, ran to get Addison, ran home to pack, picked up my Mom, Aunt and cousin, and we headed West toward the lake house. When we got there, we ordered in Mexican food. **Amazon Finds** {8.19.2020}
Today I’m sharing some of my favorite Amazon finds lately… These are in no particular order. I’m excited to share some of these with you all because a lot of them are showing SALE. Fingers crossed that they still are today…. These wool dryer balls have been great for using in the place of dryer sheets. I just sprinkle some Lavender essential oil on them, throw them in the dryer, and they’re perfect. So much better for you than chemically infused dryer sheets, and it saves money. Happy Monday!!! How was your weekend? Ours was full of rest and a lot of quiet time. We have been out of internet all weekend which since we stream TV, that means no TV either. To say I despise Windstream internet, would be an understatement. They said they put the work order in, and we should have someone out on the 20th. The 20th?!?!? WTH!!! I try to be positive about most things, but really!?? Happy Monday everyone!! Why do the weekends always fly by so quickly? We are back for week 2 of school. I’m loving seeing all the sweet, happy children. They are so happy to see their teachers and friends. **************************************************** Friday night, I dropped Addison off at the house with Joey and ran to the grocery store. They jumped in the pool for a little bit. We ended up just grilling some chicken and veggies. I had an adult beverage, and we were all in the bed before 9:00.
