    Hey Hey Everybody!! It’s back to the grind, but only for 5 days, because we are on the countdown to Spring Break! We are so excited and ready!!  Today, I’m sharing all about our weekend.  Friday afternoon, Addison got some more mail. It was from her Uncle Grant & Aunt Maxine. The Sweetest! She was so excited!!  My sweet friend from school sent her a new book to cheer her up, and she loved it! She has requested to read it at least 5 times this weekend already. It is very cute!  Never Let a Princess Paint Our silly alarm system starting beeping about 5:00 Saturday morning. It had a…

  • **Friday Favorites** {3.25.2022}

    Hello Friday!! So excited to see you! It’s been a long week, and we are excited for a few days of rest. How was your week?  Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing our favorites from the week. Monday, I was busy working on the schedule for next year. It’s crazy that it’s already time to start preparing for next year. I love making the schedule! It’s like a big puzzle that all the pieces have to fit exactly right.  I felt like we spent a ton of our week in the car. We had a lot of appointments to catch. Monday afternoon, we finally headed to…

  • **Weekend Recap** {3.21.2022}

    Well, it’s now officially Spring, and we had some beautiful sunshine this weekend, but it was still really windy and cool.  We had a camping trip planned this past weekend for a few weeks. Even after Addison broke her leg, Joey still thought we should go. So, we left after work on Friday and headed to the lake camping.  Addison supervised from the chair as we set up.  Addison’s sweet cousin, Lilah, sent her a care package. She was so excited!!  We played a little velcro ball and with the remote control car while we waited on our friends to arrive and start cooking.  Friday night, we grilled hamburgers and…

  • **Friday Favorites** What a Week! {3.18.2022}

    Well, it’s Friday, and this week started out smooth sailing. But about halfway, it took a dramatic turn.  Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing our favorites from the week. Monday, we had a normal day. I had to drop my car off at the shop to get some work done. Mom came and picked us up. She, of course, had to take little Miss for an ice cream run. Addison wasn’t complaining. Ice cream is a favorite.  Joey & I started watching “Pieces of Her” as our date night show. Have you guys seen it? It’s pretty intense and there are so many twists and turns.…

  • **Let’s Look at…….My Faves from High School & College** {3.16.2022}

    Happy Wednesday Everybody!! Today, I have a fun little linkup. I’m linking up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything and talking about some favorites from High School & College as well as some other fun tidbits. 😉 This was my High School. Cherokee High. We were the Warriors. My Mom even went to this high school. This was what the building looked like when I started. During my time there, they built a new gym, so the second picture is of it. I actually graduated in the new gym the year it opened. That was in 2003. I graduated with about 300 something students.  I had many crazy, fun times during…

  • **Weekend Recap** {3.14.2022}

    Hey Hey Everybody!! How are you all on this lovely Monday? How was everyone’s weekend? We had a lot of things planned, and they all got cancelled real fast……because…….. We woke up to Teen temperatures and a little snow. So, our first soccer game was cancelled. The wind was blowing like crazy too!! It felt like the arctic out there. Crazy because earlier last week it was short sleeve weather.  Joey had planned to go shoot clays with the guys in the afternoon, but that got cancelled too.  So, we settled for a lot of indoor play time. And of course the usual cleaning, organizing and laundry.  We finally got…

  • **Friday Favorites** {3.11.2022}

    Whew! We made it to Friday! We are ready for our weekend, but we had a lot of fun stuff happen this week!  Addison was learning all about  community helper’s this week at her school. On Monday, some vets and vet techs brought in some animals. She was loving snuggling with them.  Tuesday was dress as your favorite community helper. I guess the vet tech the day before excited her because she wanted to dress as a Vet. This vet was a favorite.  Another day this week, they learned about mail carrier’s and even mailed herself a letter. We haven’t received it yet, but she’s been extra excited to check…

  • **Spring Must Do List** {3.9.2022}

    Today, I’m sharing some fun things we want to do this Spring! Spring is definitely one of my favorite seasons, minus the pollen. It’s like the bridge to Summer which is definitely a favorite! I polled Addison with what she wanted to do this Spring. She gave me a list of things. So, today I’m sharing in hopes that you all may get some inspiration.  Play Soccer– Well, that’s good because we signed her up and are starting this weekend. It’s supposed to be a very chilly 30 degrees for the high, 21 for the low on Saturday and possibly snow. Good grief! So, not looking forward to that. However,…

  • **Hello Monday** {3.7.2022}

    Well, Hello Monday! Can’t believe you’re already here. We had a fabulously fun weekend. Today, I’m doing a quick recap.  Friday, we had a special author, Bonnie Clark, close out our Read Across America week. She read her book, “Taste Your Words“. It was super cute! I would definitely order this for my classroom, if I still had my own classroom. I may even order it to read to Addison. Some teacher “volunteers” had to do a Jelly Bean Boozled challenge. They didn’t know what flavor they got until after chewing the jelly bean. It was hilarious, and we were thankful we didn’t get voluntold. 😉  Friday, one of my…
