  • **Hello Monday** {8.28.2023}

    Hey friends!! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. I don’t know if you remember, but my office is in a former storage closet. Bree is one of my closet-mates. And our third closet mate is Laurie. We get a lot of business done in there and have lots of laughs. Laurie was on the lookout because she lost her key. We were looking everywhere and knew it would be easy to spot since it was on a giant paperclip. Low and behold, Bree and I were searching and we found it right in the front of…

  • **Friday Favorites** {8.25.2023}

    Woop Woop!! It’s Friday!! We are so excited around here! Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. We are finishing up our 4th week of school, and I am sooooo exhausted! I’m trying to get back in the routine, but I’m just going to say- it’s hard! On Tuesday, we brought Sutton home with us and stopped by Moms. She had picked up Isabel. It was like a three ring circus around there. The girls were loving it! We headed home, and the girls had a few minutes to play before having to get ready for dance class. Ya’ll just excuse…

  • **Baked Ziti** {8.23.2023}

    Hey friends!! Today, I’m sharing an easy and delicious recipe. This classic baked ziti is noodles, lots of cheese, and a hearty meat sauce combination. A family favorite recipe that’s perfect for feeding a crowd! This baked ziti is loved by both kids and adults. It’s pasta, sauce, and cheese, how can anyone not love it? It’s so easy to make and it makes great leftovers! I used this hands-free electric can opener to help open the cans, and it’s been great!  Kitchen Mama Portable Can Opener I browned and drained the ground beef and added all the tomatoes, sauce and spices to a large pan. Allow to simmer.  I also…

  • **Hello Monday** {8.21.2023}

    Happy Monday friends!! We are here again.  Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.  Friday night, we met up with some friends at a favorite restaurant. We had lots of laughs and enjoyed the company. Nolan kept trying to massage Addison’s shoulders. It was cracking us up.  Saturday morning, Joey got up and did a long 20 mile run. I slept in some and eventually moseyed out to enjoy my coffee and some reading. Book here.  It was even a little chilly. I grabbed my Blardigan which was just enough to snuggle up in.   I worked on the usual cleaning and laundry then…

  • **Friday Favorites** {8.18.2023}

    Hey Friends!!! Happy Friday!  Like the usual, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. So, a few weeks ago, my electric can opener bit the dust. Now, I don’t need a can opener every week, but sometimes I do need one. I had been using a hand held one but wanted to get another electric one. I found this hands-free electric one on Amazon, and it seems like it’s going to be the answer to my prayers. Haha! You literally just push a button, and it does its magic. I love how it cuts around the side of the can and not the top.…

  • **Summer Bucket List Recap** {8.16.2023}

    Today, I’m sharing little snippets throughout our summer of things we did off the Bucket List. We checked off everything except bowling.  A couple different things checked off more than one item.  Like the first one~ Go to the Beach.  We went to the beach twice this summer. Once in June to Myrtle Beach, SC, and once in July to Destin, Florida. Also, on the trip, we were able to check off build a sand castle, ride bikes, and go camping!  We started off the first week of Summer, heading to the Aquatic Center & Splash Pad with friends.  Then, in July, we all headed to visit Lake Winnie Amusement…

    Hey Hey Monday!! We had a full weekend of lots of fun!  Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.  Friday, we celebrated the teachers with August birthdays with a sweet treat at lunch.  Friday night, we had a pretty chill night at home and were in the bed before 9:30. Glorious!  The next morning, we were up early. Joey & Addison were participating in the Chick fil-A Moo’ve it 5k. I was just there to support. Haha!  Our friend’s Colin & Blaine were also running. Whitley and I were just going to chat, catch up and walk around the booths. There were over…

    Whew…. What a Week!! I’m so glad to see Friday and the weekend!! Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. Ya’ll…. it’s been another doozy of a week with so much going on during the day. Then lots of meetings after school. I am beat. I am exhausted. I need a looooong nap.  Addison started dance this week. She’s taking tap & ballet at a new studio with new friends. She said she enjoyed her first class which is great for not knowing anyone or the teachers. I think I was more nervous than she was. Such a trooper.  One evening’s…

  • **Let’s Look At…. My Worst Habits** {8.9.2023}

    Happy Happy Wednesday!! On the second Wednesday of every month, I link up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything. Today we are talking about my Worst Habits.  I had to ask Joey what some of my worst habits are because I know I’m perfect. Haha! Not really.  I tend to be really tough on myself and am my own worst critic. I guess I need to have more positive self-talk. I need to not be so hard on myself. 🙂 I really need to work on having off time for just family. I work and work and work on school things, home things and blog things, but I need to be…
