**Friday Favorites** {8.18.2023}

Hey Friends!!! Happy Friday!

Like the usual, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

So, a few weeks ago, my electric can opener bit the dust. Now, I don’t need a can opener every week, but sometimes I do need one. I had been using a hand held one but wanted to get another electric one. I found this hands-free electric one on Amazon, and it seems like it’s going to be the answer to my prayers. Haha! You literally just push a button, and it does its magic. I love how it cuts around the side of the can and not the top. And, there’s a smooth edge. It has over 86,000 reviews, so you know it’s good! It helped me make my ziti this week, and it is a definite favorite!

Kitchen Mama Portable Can Opener

Tuesday morning, I was able to drop Addison off through the car rider line. All smiles. This was a favorite.

I had to head to a follow up appointment. All was good, thankfully! But it is always awkward with everyone just sitting around in pink robes. lol

I did get in some reading time though. Favorite! I love Emily Henry and actually thought I had read this one already. I just picked it up, and I’m loving it! Have you read it?

People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry

Mom went with me to my appointment. After the doctor, we headed to do some shopping at a few stores. Our favorite tends to be JCrew Factory. They have so many cute things right now!

I grabbed these things for Addison.

Flower Graphic Tee / Fall Graphic Tee / Cotton Zip up Hoodie

We stopped by the Shake Shack for some lunch. It was a great treat!

Addison’s teacher posted the class reading. Makes me so happy!

Our county sent out lanyards and pins recognizing veteran teachers. Here I am with my fellow friends in the 15-19 year range. We are over the hump.  🙂

I wore this Color Abstract Ruffle top this week. I don’t think it’s in stock anymore, but there are so many other adorable things at my favorite boutique, Jules & James. If you haven’t checked it out, you need to! Especially my teacher friends! They post new things daily!

Do you guys shop on Jane

They have super cute Fall Graphic tees right now! Check them out!

That’s all for our week. What do you guys have planned this weekend? Can’t wait to read about it!

I am so glad your follow up appointment went well! I shared a photo in a pink robe today too. They’re so flattering and comfy, ha! I hadn’t looked at that boutique yet, but I did this morning. They have some really cute things and I love all the bright colors! Congratulation on the 15-19 range! Is there anything better than pictures of a class reading? Add in your own sweet kid and it’s even better! Have a great weekend!

We still have an under the counter mounted electric can opener but it is starting to die on us and I know I need to get a new one soon. I’ll have to look into that one. Your baked ziti looks so delicious!

Pink is a good color for you! It’s hard to believe you are in the 15-19 year range! Katie, pictured with you, is my former student! Wow! Time is flying!
