Hello Monday Weekend Recap

**Hello Monday** {8.21.2023}

Happy Monday friends!! We are here again.

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday night, we met up with some friends at a favorite restaurant. We had lots of laughs and enjoyed the company. Nolan kept trying to massage Addison’s shoulders. It was cracking us up.

Saturday morning, Joey got up and did a long 20 mile run. I slept in some and eventually moseyed out to enjoy my coffee and some reading. Book here

It was even a little chilly. I grabbed my Blardigan which was just enough to snuggle up in.

I worked on the usual cleaning and laundry then we headed to the park. Addison wanted to do some bike riding. I dropped them off……

And headed to grab a few things at Target.

Addison & Adalynn were spending the night with Penny. Joey & I had a nice date night at Branchwater downtown. We got the Brussels sprouts (a fave) as an appetizer. I ordered the Blackened Grouper, and Joey got the Chicken cutlets. It was all delicious!

We headed to the newly opened Crumbl’ Cookie for a sweet treat. We didn’t have to wait too long, thankfully. But when we left there were lots of people lined up to get in.

I received a new Jules & James order. I love the beautiful colors in this Berry Floral top, and the wide leg raw hem Brick pants are so comfortable! It’s going to be great for Fall!

Yesterday, I spotted so many butterflies on the Butterfly bush. They made me smile.

And so much of this is so true.

That’s all for our weekend! I can’t wait to read about what you did! See you on Wednesday!

    That new outfit is perfect for fall! You just reminded me that my husband and I have yet to schedule a date night this month; guess I know what we’re doing this weekend.

    1. Thank you, Joanne! You definitely need to go ahead and schedule it now! 🙂
