  • **Let’s Look at… Love Language** {2.10.2021}

    Happy Wednesday!! Today is a little link-up party.  Iā€™m linking up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything to talk about my Love Language.  Joey and I read “The 5 Love Languages” when we first got married. I remember the book being full of interesting information, and I learned a lot about myself and about my spouse just by reading it and taking the quiz.  So, we have been married 8 years, and I decided to take the quiz again. We both have grown a lot in these years, and we have Addison now. So, I was intrigued to see if it had changed.  ********************************************* Back in 2012, most of my points…

  • **Hello Monday** It’s Christmas week! {12.21.2020}

    Happy Monday! Holy cow… it’s been a while… I apologize, and as most of you know, I’m technologically challenged. My site/theme went down last week. It was corrupted, whatever that means, I tried to fix it myself. That didn’t last very long. Long story short, I was doing live chats, phone calls, emails… trying to get it fixed. It was apparently, not an easy fix. #sigh. I think it’s up and running correctly now. And I’m glad to be back.Ā  So, I’m sharing a lot from last week and our weekend.Ā  We had lots of dress up days at school last week…. Monday was a favorite… It was candy cane…

  • **Weekend Recap** {11.9.2020}

    Happy Monday! Even though we had a pretty low-key weekend, I’m tired. Anyone else?  We started Friday night with friends from church coming over just to catch up. We hadn’t seen them in months, so it was good to see them and spend some time with them.  ********************************************* Saturday morning, we were up bright and early and hit up Party City and Hobby Lobby. We needed to get some things for Addison’s upcoming birthday party. Some Christmas decorations may have also snuck in the buggy. šŸ˜‰  I decided I wanted to go ahead and put a few things up for Christmas. Not the major things, but just some lights. We…

  • **Weekend Recap** A Little Getaway Part I {2.17.2020}

    Happy Monday!! If you’re like me, I hope you have today off or better yet the whole week. It’s our February break, and we are planning to enjoy every minute of it.  Let’s start with Friday, Valentine’s Day! Addison gave Adalynn this for Valentine’s Day.  Of course with Friday being Valentine’s Day, it was extra wild/exciting at school. Our students were so excited and cute with all their Valentines. They were really sweet to me too with lots of treats! šŸ˜‰  Our school had a wellness incentive going in January to track our daily steps. I won for the most steps, which was a little shocking to me, but I…

  • **Let’s Look at my Winter Wardrobe** {2.12.2020}

    Hey guys!! Happy Wednesday!! Today, I’m linking up with Shay and Erika for a Let’s Look At… linkup. On the second Wednesday of the month, we share different things about our life and home… I hope you enjoy the topic today… šŸ™‚ Here are the topics for the year.  So, here’s my closet… sorry it’s a little messy right now. I tend to have random stuff hanging everywhere and things folded on my little drawer at one end.   The weather around here has been crazy. You never know from day to day, even hour to hour, what the weather is going to be like or what you should wear. Even…

  • *Random Shenanigans* {10.23.19}

    Happy Wednesday!! Today’s post is short and sweet. Sunday evening we went to Joey’s Dad’s to carve/paint pumpkins and eat dinner. We all had a great time!!  The girls got right to work playing with play-doh.  Addison’s face/eyes were cracking me up. She kept begging to go faster, but then she was holding on for dear life.  Then we did some painting. The girls painted and Joey and Dylan carved.  Here are the final products. They turned out really cute!  That’s it for today. šŸ™‚  See you back here on Friday for Friday favorites.  xoxo

  • **Friday Favorites** Fair Edition {10.18.2019}

    Happy Friday!! It has been a short four-day week with the students, but it has still felt long! All I’m saying is, I’m glad it’s Friday!!   Today Iā€™m linking up with  Erika, Andrea, and Narci to bring you Friday Favorites. I am sharing some of my favorite things from the week!! šŸ™‚ One favorite this week was seeing this mask on Addison! I couldn’t stop laughing!! Another favorite are these gummies! It is very difficult to get Addison to eat a vegetable. She loves all the fruit, but any veggie is a no-go. So, I ordered these gummies to give her some added vitamins. She loves them!  My post on Wednesday was all about…

  • *Seaside Vacay* Part Two {Sept 2019}

    Happy Wednesday!! Yesterday I shared Part One of our vacay. If you missed it, check it out here.  On this day, we started out early again. We knew we had plans this afternoon/evening in Destin, so we wanted to get some beach time in the morning while we could.  We came in, got the girls down for a short nap, then got ready to go enjoy a Dolphin cruise.  The traffic was awful getting there. We made it to the boat just in time, with just minutes before departing.  We didn’t know we were on the sunset cruise. So, actually the boat stayed out about 15 minutes longer than we…

  • *What’s up Wednesday!* {6.26.2019}

    It’s the last Wednesday of the month. On this day, I link up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I  will share a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us right now. 1. What We Are Eating This Week: So, coming off of 2 weeks of really bad food and tons of eating out, I am hoping for a little bit better meal choices and more vegetables. We will see. šŸ˜‰  Sunday: Refrigerator clean out from vacation. Hodgepodge of Fried Shrimp, Shrimp n’ grits and Crab Cakes Monday: We had vegetables from the garden that were coming in. So, I grilled some chicken. We had Southern Style Green Beans…

  • Beach Vacay Highlights

    So sorry I’ve been out of commission for the past 2 weeks. We were extremely busy with church activities two weeks ago. Last week we headed to the beach for a week of sunshine and relaxation. Therefore, off of blog land.  So, today I’m planning to highlight our week. I hope you can see that I wanted to spend every last minute with my family enjoying our time together.  This was us eating at one of our favorite places, King’s pizza! It is a family owned Grecian restaurant. They have delicious homemade salad dressings. Their pizzas are yummy too!  My shirt is from one of my favorite retailers, Nordstrom. #freeshipfreereturns…
