So sorry I’ve been out of commission for the past 2 weeks. We were extremely busy with church activities two weeks ago. Last week we headed to the beach for a week of sunshine and relaxation. Therefore, off of blog land.
So, today I’m planning to highlight our week. I hope you can see that I wanted to spend every last minute with my family enjoying our time together.
This was us eating at one of our favorite places, King’s pizza! It is a family owned Grecian restaurant. They have delicious homemade salad dressings. Their pizzas are yummy too!

It’s very soft and comes in a few other colors. I also have it in black. I swoon over anything with embroidery.
We enjoyed some fun in the sun. We like to spend a few hours at the beach in the morning. Then head up for some lunch and rest. Then, we go to the pool and splash pad for a few hours in the afternoon.

We went to an outdoor shopping area one night. We enjoyed some shopping at some specialty shops. They also have a really cool playground that Addison had so much fun playing on. Later that night they had fireworks. A great night overall!

Morning cartoon watching
We went and got seafood in Calabash, NC one night. It’s always so fresh, and I always love watching the fishing boats come in and out. We usually walk out on the docks after we eat. So fun!
We hadn’t tried to play putt putt with Addison, and I was really excited to try. I always loved playing on vacation when I was growing up, so I was really eager for her to play. This was the night we went. Although it wasn’t as great attempting to keep a 2 year old focused, overall it was great fun!
Pool day… How you doin?
We went to another outdoor shopping area one night. It was definitely warm, so I had Addison dress in some tropical wear. Mom joined in on the fashion trend.
Our last day was a little cloudy and the humidity was lower because storms came through earlier that morning. It felt wonderful on the beach, so we took advantage by playing hard.
This is a great hat! It doesn’t lose its shape which is awesome when packing.
