**Valentine Weekend Recap** {2.16.2022}
Well, it’s Wednesday, and I’m back! Sorry I didn’t really post on Monday, we were just having too much fun on Sunday and Sunday night, so I didn’t get the post done.
So, I’m sharing all about our weekend, today!
Friday was one of our coworkers last day. So, we had all the sweets to wish her well in her next endeavor.
Addison had plans to spend the night with Joey’s Dad, Friday night. The weather was beautiful, so we had a few minutes of play time before he picked her up.
And, they did the sweetest things for the girls.
They made pizzas which I know Addison was loving, full of cheese!
They played with play doh.
They even set them up a tent in the living room to sleep in.
Complete with a tent dance party, lots of tickling, and glow sticks!
The next day we also had beautiful weather! So, these girls definitely enjoyed the sunshine! They always have the best times with Grandpa and Granna! Thanks for making it so special!
While the girls played, Joey and I went to do some work at the Church, ran by the butcher shop, then I cleaned and did some laundry at the house and ran to the grocery store. He had to go work on a relative’s heater.
We picked her up, and she was out in minutes. #tiredgirl
We headed out shopping a little bit before our dinner reservations. I love the Container Store! It makes my Type A self so happy!
Saturday night we had early dinner reservations at Firebird’s Woodfire Grill. We had a delicious dinner, and it was lovely company. 🙂
After our meal, we decided to walk around at the Avalon for a bit. The weather was a little chilly but nice enough to walk around.
We decided to go ahead and grab some desert. I mean, it is for Valentine’s Day! 😉
So delicious and so fun! I hadn’t eaten here since my college days with the girls.
And, on the way home, she was out!
Sunday morning, we got up and took a walk in the woods. We wanted some outside time. It was a very chilly 30 degrees, but the sun was shining.
We went back inside and Addison got right to work making a mess. Haha!
I got to work preparing some apps for us for the Super Bowl. Did you guys watch? I seriously didn’t care about the game, but I was all for the halftime line up. I saw this on social media, and it made me laugh out loud because it’s so true!
