**Weekend Recap** {2.28.2022}

I can’t believe today is the last day of February! Where did the month go? Our Winter Break is over, and we are back to the grind today. But we only have 5 weeks until our next break, but who’s counting. 😉

We had a nice, little weekend. Friday, Addison and I did a little boutique shopping before heading to Target.

I was supposed to go to dinner with the girls, but a sick child and babysitter ended those plans. It’s always so hard to get us all together.

Joey got off work a little early, and we headed to the park to ride the bike and practice soccer. The weather was a little chilly, but we tried to make the most of the sunshine.

Saturday morning, I worked on weeding out the flower beds to begin getting them prepared for Spring. Addison enjoyed playing with all the balls and bubbles.

After we finished our outside work, we hopped in the car and headed to Costco to get some essentials.

Why is it you ask your child if she needs to go to the bathroom before we leave, she says no. You make her try anyway. She doesn’t go. Then 5 miles down the road she starts yelling “Mom, I need to potty”. It never fails!

Saturday evening, we got together with Joey’s Mom and family. It was great to see everyone and just be together. Orange faces and all. 😉

Sunday morning, Addison practiced some songs before church. She’s growing up too fast.

After church, we went to visit Joey’s Granny who has been really sick since Christmas. She’s finally feeling somewhat like her self and getting her strength back. We loved visiting with her.

My parents are finally back from their month long trip to Florida. We went to visit and eat with them last night. It was so great seeing them! They are all tan, and we are definitely not. Ha!

That’s it for our weekend! We are off to give baths and prepare lunches for our week! I hope you’re having a great start to your week!
