**What’s up Wednesday** {4.27.2022}
It’s the  last Wednesday of the month. On this day, I link up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I am sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.Â
Grab your coffee, tea, or whatever you’re sipping on and settle in. 🙂
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
I feel like when this part of the year hits; it’s so hard to plan for what to cook, and we are so busy! So, this is what’s happening this week.Â
Sunday: We ate a big lunch at church Sunday afternoon, so we didn’t really eat any dinner that night. But here’s some of what I ate in the afternoon.Â
BBQ pork, hash brown casserole, broccoli cheddar casserole, baked beans, strawberry cakeÂ
Monday: Southwest Chicken Rice BowlsÂ
Tuesday: Zucchini Lasagna
Wednesday:Â Out to eat to celebrate my Dad’s birthday!Â
Thursday: Leftover Rice BowlsÂ
Friday: Leftover Lasagna
Saturday:Â Kitchen’s closed!Â
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:Â
So many sweet memories popped up on my feed this month.Â
Look at all these precious Easter memories.Â
Here’s a side by side of the girls at Easter 4 years ago, and here they are this year. Wow! We have really grown.Â
Look at these little sweeties when Adalynn turned 3. Addison was still 2, and we went to see Disney on Ice! This was in 2019.Â
This was last year in April when we went to the strawberry patch and another day when we went to Dollywood. Sweet memories.Â
3. What I’m Loving:
I’m loving that the weather is getting warmer, and we are able to get outside. I’m loving that it’s becoming grilling season!Â
I’m also loving how quickly Addison’s leg healed, and she’s able to now walk on her leg cast and brace free!Â
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We have had lots of surgeries and healing going on around here.Â
Earlier this month, during Spring break, we were able to get away to Florida. Read all about my recap here.Â
Our girl was such a trooper after her adenoidectomy and ear tube surgery. She’s feeling all better now, and her leg has pretty much healed. No running or jumping on it, but she can walk. Yay!
And, we had so much fun with family and celebrating Easter!Â
5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m not really dreading anything right now. 😉Â
Â
6. What I’m Working On:Â
I’m working on this blog post as well as some school work.Â
I am also busy planning our upcoming trips.Â
This is how I feel right now. Ha! 😉
Â
7. What I’m Excited About:Â
I am really excited about all the fun things we have planned next month and then moving into summer.Â
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
We are almost through with season 1 of “Love is Blind.” It is so cheesy, a lot of drama, but I can’t get enough of it! We are at the 1 day from the wedding point. I can pretty much tell who is going to make it and who isn’t. Have you guys seen this gem? 😉
I started this month reading “Live in Love” by Lauren Akins. It was great! Very genuine, and I just loved that it went through her childhood and how she and country music star, Thomas Rhett, grew up together. She talks about how they learned to grow and love together and what it’s really like to be “the perfect couple”.Â
9. What I’m Listening To:Â
Right now I’m listening to some podcasts. I’ve currently been listening to “The Southern Tea”, “The Holderness Family”, and “The Bestie Breakdown”.Â
10. What I’m Wearing:Â
I wore this chiffon blouse is from Amazon this week and got so many comments! It has a really cute style, and I’m usually not a v-neck girl, but I’m liking this one. I loved this purple color, but it comes in other colors as well. It is a great price point at $17 plus you can add on an additional coupon to save even more.Â
And, I have them paired with my Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans. I know I have talked about these gems multiple times, but they are so versatile and so comfortable. Don’t forget to size down a size.Â
Chiffon Blouse / White Bootcut Jeans / WedgesÂ
This Lakeline popover shirt from Madewell has still been in the rotation of my outfits! I just adore the colors and the style! And the material is super soft! Â
Madewell Shirt / White Skinny Jeans / Tory Burch Sandals (size up 1/2 size)
I have lots of pairs of the OG Miller sandals. Right now, the Cloud Miller’s are on sale for 35% off!Â
Do you need a new pair of sunglasses? I feel like I’m always losing mine or they get so scratched up. Right now, Quay is having a BOGO sale! You could get you a pair and your mom a pair, or just grab 2 pair for you! There are so many adorable styles!Â
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:Â
We may go meet my Mom & Dad in the mountains this weekend. There’s a festival, and I am eager to go to it.Â
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
Next month, I’m super excited about all the end of year events including Addison’s Mother’s Day Tea at her school. It’s always so sweet!
13. Favorite Amazon Find:
These 2 items I ordered from Amazon a few weeks ago, and they have been amazing! I literally feel like they are earth shattering!Â
I have been horrible with remembering to clean my makeup brushes. I had seen this brush cleaning mat and this makeup cleaner on somebody’s social media. I am so glad I saw it, because wow, it is awesome! It did an amazing job cleaning my brushes. It was really disgusting watching all the makeup wash out.Â
14. What Else Is New:
My favorite sunscreen is on sale right now at Nordstrom! I am planning to stock up for Summer! I love the way this stuff smells! It also has a great spray and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy!Â
I also found my favorite face sunscreen on sale at Anthropologie! It goes on great and gives your skin a slight glow. It has SPF 40 and includes lots of vitamins and hydrating ingredients.Â
And, in thinking of Mother’s Day, this Heart Photo Art by Minted, would be the perfect gift! Right now through Friday, you can get 15% off your order and Free Shipping with CODE: MOM2022
Thank you all for reading. I am so thankful for all of you! I hope you have an awesome day!! See you back here on Friday!Â

Florida is such a fun place! Glad you had a great vacation there. That Miller sandals is on my wish list and will check out this sale out. I am glad your little one is feeling better. Surgeries are no fun but what a trooper. Love the blouse you are wearing. The color is stunning and the Swiss dot detail is my favorite!

Babies in baskets!!!
I wanted to ask if you have ever posted (or posted a link to) the recipe for the hashbrown casserole. You’ve mentioned it in several posts and I did a search but didn’t find a recipe. 🙂
