**Hello Monday** {10.3.2022}
I started off my Friday with happiness in a cup. It got me through the day.
Friday night, I invited my parents over for Chili & Grilled Cheese sandwiches.
After they left, Adalynn & Cindy came over to watch Hocus Pocus 2 outside. We made smores and had a great night!! The movie was good, but I still like the 1st one better.
I don’t know what happened, but after we played the movie, my phone died. We couldn’t get it to come back on or charge. So, Saturday morning… off to the phone place we go. Joey had a church meeting to go to, so it was an all girls day. Thankfully, they got it going again.
We left there and headed to Party City to look for some Halloween costumes. Addison is having a hard time narrowing it down.
We left there and headed to Trader Joes… one of my favorite places. I got so many Fall/seasonal favorites.
We swung by Costco and grabbed some of our monthly staples.
I also got a glimpse of what I want for Christmas. 😉
We headed home to unload the groceries and put everything away. I stuck our pretty sunflowers in some water. I do enjoy them in the Fall.
We left there and headed to Joey’s Grannys house. They were having a little gathering- mostly just to see everyone. It was very windy, but the girls had a blast running around in the yard.
We met Joey for dinner at Cracker Barrel. Addison was just as shocked as we all were at already seeing Christmas trees. It doesn’t make me too sad though.
Sunday morning, we got up, did a few things around the house and enjoyed a mid-morning walk. Fall is definitely in the air.
Around lunch, we headed North toward the Apple Farms.
She wanted to start off at the Petting farm. The chickens hair dos were cracking us up.
We headed to the milking cow station and then walked around in the orchard before heading to the……..
Farm slide… which she could have stayed at forever. But, we talked her into the corn box. Which she loved as well.
Family smiles. Love these two.
Poor baby girl got stung by a yellow jacket. We kept watching it to make sure she wasn’t having a reaction. We put some ice on it and cooled her down for a few minutes. And she was better than ever and ready for more fun.
We headed across the street to the other side of the farm where the wagon ride is.
Ready to ride.
One last pic, on the truck, before heading out.
We left the farm and went to another apple house that we think has better market items. We got fried apple pies, apple cider donuts, apples, and ice cream to snack on. We were all hyped up on lots of sugar.
We still have okra coming in….. but this will probably be our last cutting.
Last night, we went to visit my parents and have dinner with them. My Aunt and Uncle stopped by. They were in their new Bronco. It’s a beauty.
When we got home, we all got showers/baths, lunches were made, bags were packed ready for school, I worked on this blog post, and then early to bed for some reading time.
All in all, it was a wonderful family fun-filled weekend. I’ll be back on Wednesday for a Let’s Look link-up. See ya’ll then!

What a fun and fall-filled weekend! I can’t wait to get to the apple orchard- one of my fave fall traditions- just don’t know when we are going to be able to squeeze it in- ha! Those sunflowers are gorgous too 🙂
