**Hello Monday** {7.10.2023}

Hello Friends and Happy Monday!! I’m getting a little sad because our Summer is flying by and the end is quickly approaching. 

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday morning, my gal pal Shannon and I headed with our kids to Lake Winnie. Neither of us had been, so we didn’t really know what to expect. It was about an hour and half drive from our house. We arrived right when they opened to hopefully avoid the crowds and maybe beat the heat a little bit, if that was even possible. Ha! 

The park has an amusement ride side, and then they also have a water park side. You can bring picnic lunches and eat on the grounds and also change clothes there too. 

So, we decided to hit up the amusement park side before lunch. It had a very fair like feel. 

Shannon was cracking me up on the caterpillar coaster. 

Lawson did great chauffeuring us in the old cars. 

The girls wanted to ride the Ferris wheel. I told them no swinging and no looking over. It ended up stopping them at the very top, to let others on, and I was worried they would get scared, but they did great. 

We were getting very hot! It was creeping into the 90s by lunchtime, so we decided to go ahead and eat lunch. We ate, got changed into our swimwear and hopped on the little train to take us over to the water park side. That was convenient.

I was looking like a sweaty mess by this time. 

Once we arrived, we headed right for the water to cool down. We were all so hot! The water park side was really nice. It had a kiddie area, which they all enjoyed, a little bit bigger slides, a lot bigger slides (which they did not go down), a lazy river, and a big splash playground area with an obstacle course. It was a lot of fun! 

We left the park around 4:30, and we were all exhausted. Haha! We got home around 7, got baths, and were in the bed pretty quickly. 

The next morning, Giggles was enjoying some sunshine. 

I worked on cleaning the house and packing some clothes. We all headed to the plant nursery in the afternoon to grab a plant for a sweet friend who just lost her mom. 

That evening, we headed out to eat some delicious Mexican. I was able to wear one of my new J & J tops.

We headed to the ice cream & candy store after dinner. 

Sunday morning, Addison and Joey took me for breakfast for my birthday.

I got caramel praline French toast with bacon. It was amazing! 

On the way home, I stopped by and got my birthday Starbucks. 🙂

Joey & Addison spoiled me. They were so sweet. Addison made me a card shaped like a heart. <3 

They got me some outdoor loungers. I was really excited about these!

While I lounged in the sun, Addison painted in the shade. She was the smart one. Haha! 

Dad & Mom took me out to eat last night for my birthday. They’ve been out of town for over a week, so it was good to see them! Addison was excited! 

I was in Jules & James of course. My ruffle sleeve top is here. 

My parents came back to our house after dinner. They brought yummy cookie cake. 

I just love Addison’s Well Dressed Wolf Aunt Heart. The lace is so sweet. 

Dad & Mom got me a ceiling fan for our outdoor patio. This is 38 friends. Haha! 

I’m sure this is how they feel when coming to our house. Haha! 😉
