**Hello Monday** {10.21.2024}

Here we are at Monday so quickly again. It’s amazing how fast 2 days off goes by.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday night, we went out to dinner for burgers and chicken tenders- Addison. We had an early bedtime because we were all so tired from the week.

I was up early sending Joey off on his trip out west. I got some laundry done, packed a few things, and we headed out for a little girl’s getaway.

While driving, they were having a car show and we saw a lot of old cars. I snapped a picture of this older Bronco. My dad used to have one like it in red.

We weren’t really sure what to expect of the town. We were staying in Tracy City, TN. It’s not far from Monteagle.

We walked around in the very few shops that were open.

We quickly found out that the town was tiny. A lot of businesses are closed or closed for the season.

We did find a really neat store and bakery that was over 100 years old.

We were staying in a Tiny Home community. Unfortunately it was not ready until 4:00, right at check-in time.

We killed some time playing on the community playground and playing some cornhole.

We explored some of the area and sat out at the lake until time to check-in.

Our little house was adorable. Perfect size for us girls.

The only complaint we had was some of the decor and furniture was not comfortable at all. We kept hitting knees and toes on all the sharp corners.

Oh, and we didn’t have a tv. This was unfortunate because we wanted to watch some big games play football this weekend.

We decided to go out, to the only restaurant in town that was open, Hank’s Bar & Grill. It was entertaining for sure! Full of Tennessee fans and 1 Alabama fan.

Addi didn’t want to get a picture with me.

Thank you, Isabel, for smiling with me.

After an eventful and entertaining time at Hank’s, we headed back to our home for firepit time.

Mom was cracking us up with her shower cap on. She didn’t want to get smoke in her hair. We were rolling laughing.

And then Aunt Dot got stuck in this bucket, and we were rolling laughing trying to pry her out of it.

It’s so good to laugh!

After a while, we made our way inside. Isabel wearing Mom’s shower cap, wanted to play Life. I opted out for some reading time.

This game goes on way tooooo long!

I was nodding off before it was over.

The next morning, we were up bright and early.

Isabel entertained us by wearing some of the home decor.

Isn’t the little Retreat community so cute?

We had photo time before leaving.

We decided to make our way back down some back roads before getting back on 24.

While driving through a construction zone, a car slung some piece of metal off the road onto our windshield. Traffic was very heavy, and there was no where for me to swerve. It came very fast too. When it hit, it sounded like a bomb or gun went off. Like to have scared us to death! Thankfully we were ok. The windshield was not okay, but it can be replaced and nothing else was damaged.

It’s so crazy how it made all these circular marks. It really almost busted through the windshield.

I don’t know what happened to it after it left our windshield.

We made a pit stop by Buc-ee’s. It was super crowded! Giving me major anxiety!

We dropped Isabel off then headed to drop Aunt Dot off. Addi had to swing for a minute.

There were so many awesome online sales this weekend!

I ordered a lot of things for Addison from Old Navy. Everything is 50% off!

Colleen Rothschild is having 25% off everything for their Family & Friends Sale! CODE: Family25

JCrew Factory is also having 50% off Everything + Extra 20% off for Passport Members

Have a wonderful week everyone! See ya on Wednesday!
