Hello Monday Weekend Recap

**Hello Monday** {5.19.2025}

Happy Happy Monday!! It’s a wonderful Monday because it’s the last one of the school year! We just have 5 days with students and 3 days of post-planning next week. I can almost taste the sunscreen now. Haha!

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday morning, we honored our 2025 seniors with the always sentimental Senior Walk through the halls.

It was extra special because Joey’s sister, Emma got to walk.

She had a great cheering squad.

This is always so emotional for me. I’m always so proud of all my former students.

On to the pictures.

Addison had a great report at the dentist that afternoon. It was extra special because her Aunt Autumn was her hygienist.

While we were there, we got the call that Milo was ready for pickup at the groomer. He was looking extra dapper in his bow tie.

Saturday morning, we woke up to gloomy, rainy skies.

So, Addison worked on cleaning out her toy chest and closet. While I worked on cleaning and mopping.

This is the best mop combination. All I do is add really hot tap water, until filled. Then I sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of Tide powder.

I got in this new gauze top from Nordstrom, and it’s so awesome! I love a gauze top! I ordered a medium, and it worked great!

After cleaning, the girls made a Target run.

Once we were home, we left the house about 3:45 to make the 1 hour 15 minute drive to “The Steakhouse”.

Mom said that her and her grandmother and Aunt ate there in her early 20s.

While we waited, we were able to watch our sweet friend, Reese graduate.

I snapped some pics with my wild, silly girl while we waited.

The food was delicious! Joey said it was the best steak he had had in a long time. It was so soft you could always just pull it apart with your fork. Plus, it was cooked over an outside fire, so it had a really good flavor.

After dinner, we made the long trek back home.

I snapped a pic of good ole’ Georgia power plant on the way back.

When we got home, we watched Paddington in Peru.

Doesn’t everyone watch it with swim goggles. Haha!

Kids Anti-fog Swim Goggles

She slept upstairs in her playroom.

When I got up yesterday morning, she was back in the goggles.

I was so sad it was raining again yesterday morning, when we got home. I was so hoping for a day relaxing in the sun.

It finally stopped raining about 11, and I was able to lay out some! Yay!! I even started my new book!

Great Big Beautiful Life

After sunning for a bit, we decided to head to the park. Addison wanted to ride on her scooter, and I was happy to get out in the sunshine and enjoy the day!

It was a beautiful day!

That’s it for our weekend! I hope you have a great week, friends!
