We started off Friday afternoon with kicking off our Tribal reveal ceremony. Teachers were able to pick their class tribe/color for the year. It’s always exciting!
And, we had a special mascot running around celebrating our Ag program. We were all rolling with laughter.Â
Friday night, we had a pool party birthday for Hayes! He turned 4!!Â
The kids were all having a blast… as were the adults!Â
I was up semi early… enjoying my coffee and trying to enjoy some reading. Milo wasn’t having it.Â
Addison had a dance workshop.Â
I met my friend Sharon for some shopping. We started by going to a new Romantic bookshop called Damsel. It was adorable!Â
Afterward, we did some boutique shopping, grabbed some coffee and hit up our little farmer’s market. I was happy to grab some homemade bread.Â
I picked Addison up from dance, and we hung out around the house a bit.Â
Then we headed to Thatcher’s BBQ for a yummy meal! Sooo good!Â
We got back and played some b-ball games of Horse and 2 on 1.Â
Sunday, the morning weather was wonderful. A little Fall-like. I sat on our outside patio sipping my coffee for a bit before getting ready for church.Â
We went to church. Once we got home I did some lunch meal prepping. Then enjoyed some sunshine. The butterflies were lovely all over the butterfly bush.Â
I watched My Oxford Year, on Netflix, this weekend. It was so good! I’m sad that I never read the book. I have heard about it for years, but I never took the time to actually read it. I wish I did. I have heard it was so much better. I thought the movie was great, so maybe I will go ahead and read it now.Â
That’s it for our weekend! What were you up to?Â
Have a great week, friends!Â

Looks like such a fun weekend. Hope your school year is off to an amazing start. Did the party hostess make that balloon arch? I am so impressed by those! Have to find a friend to make one for us 🙂
What a fun day Friday was at school and happy birthday to Hayes! It looks like everyone had a great time in the pool.
Saturday sounds like such a lovely day and the BBQ food looks so good!
I keep hearing good things about My Oxford Year, I need to watch it.
