**What’s up Wednesday** {6.30.2021}
It’s the last Wednesday of the month, and it’s the last Wednesday of June! I’m so sad our Summer break is flying by so fast!
Today, I’m linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I’m sharing a little bit of this and that and everything that’s been going on with us lately.
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
This week, I was just grabbing random things to cook. Nothing fancy around here.
Sunday: Pork Chops, Corn, Baked Brussels Sprouts, Baked Beans
Monday: Salad, Spaghetti with Trader Joe’s Tomato Basil Sauce ( I never brown ground beef without this little gadget).
Tuesday: Trader Joe’s Beef with Broccoli, Fried Rice, Sautéed Vegetables
Wednesday: Pizza
Thursday: Leftover Spaghetti
Friday & Saturday: Out of Town
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
All these Summer and Beach pictures are giving me all the feels. This was from 6 years ago. We look so young and rested. Ha!
Look at this little cutie from 4 years ago.
This memory popped up from 3 years ago.
This was from 2 years ago. Her first time on a water slide. She had a blast.
These memories popped up from our beach trip 2 years ago. She was already bringing all the sass.
3. What I’m Loving:
I’m loving having all the down time and all the family time. Just taking it easy.
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We are trying to make our way through our Summer Must-Do list.
We went to the splash pad last week. We had the best time!
We celebrated my Papa’s 91st birthday earlier this month.
We loved celebrating all the Dad’s in our lives this month, especially this guy.
5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m only dreading our summer flying by.
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on freezing/putting up all the things in our garden. Well, really just squash/zucchini, pickles, and peppers right now. The pesky deer have really eaten all of our green beans and okra. 🙁
I’m also working on planning/packing for our upcoming trip.
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am excited about another vacation that we have planned next month.
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
I’m almost all the way through Jane, the Virgin. It’s pretty unrealistic, but I like that it’s an easy watch.
Joey and I watched Friends: The Reunion last week. It was good. I teared up a few times. Has anyone else watched it? We are those people that are always quoting from the show.
I am so excited about Virgin River Season 3 coming back on July 9th!!
I read Mary Kay Andrews, “the Newcomer” earlier this month. It was great! I feel like I couldn’t put it down. I was on edge throughout the book, but I loved the story and the mystery of it all. I would highly recommend this one to read!
I always love Kristy Woodson Harvey’s novels, and this one did not disappoint! I flew through “Under the Southern Sky” reading it in under a week which is very fast for me! This one started off grabbing me right away. I teared up a few times and loved the southern setting. Even though it flipped characters/settings a few times, it wasn’t confusing. Trust me, read this one!
I am currently reading my favorite author, Elin Hilderbrand’s “Golden Girl“. It’s definitely not her traditional style novel. I am not even sure I like it so far. I’m hoping it doesn’t let me down. Has anyone else read this one?
9. What I’m Listening To:
I’m not listening to anything right now. I’m enjoying the quiet while Addison naps.
I have been listening to The Southern Tea Podcast and the Bestie Breakdown Podcast lately.
10. What I’m Wearing:
If you haven’t ever tried Coco Reef it is one of my favorite brands for swim. There are so many different styles and designs. I love how the tops are your bra size, so you can really pinpoint your size. There are also lots of bottom styles to choose from. I tend to go to my usual black/navy, but I do have a coral pair that is easy to mix/match as well.
This is my tankini top that I grabbed at the beginning of the summer. It’s really comfortable and flowy.
I am still wearing this tank and these high-waisted drawstring shorts from Old Navy. They’re so easy to just throw on and go. Plus, you know always wearing my Tory Burch Miller Sandals. Size up 1/2 size.
These high-waisted linen shorts from Old Navy are great! I love the Rose color, but they also come in about 5 other colors. They’re on sale right now!
I’m still wearing my Sunshine and Coffee tank. I did size up one size because I didn’t want it tight fitting. It’s easy and light to just throw on and go. And gives me all the good-feeling vibes. 😉
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
We are celebrating the Fourth of July! It’s one of my favorite holidays! Love the fireworks, the food, the festiveness… It’s just the best!
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
I’m looking forward to another beach trip and hopefully just continuing to take it easy and soak up all the memories. I start back to school on July 26th, so I know it’s going to fly by.
And ya’ll, isn’t this the truth.
13. What Else is New:
I am getting really excited for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! It will be here so soon! 🙂
Thank you all for reading and supporting my blog.
I hope you have an awesome Wednesday!! See you back here on Friday!

Tried to get those rose colored shorts. They were out of my size. Do better, Old Navy.

Awwww… bummer! Old Navy needs to restock!

I really need to go to Old Navy now. I love those shorts. I hope you can enjoy summer before it goes by too quickly. Enjoy each day with your loved ones.

Why is summer going by so fast already?! I feel like all of my weekends are already full!

I know! It always does! And, yes! Everything is booked I feel like for the rest of the summer! Trying to get it all in! 🙂

We just finished up school 2 weeks ago but already the summer feels like it is flying by! I am going to have to keep that line of bathing suits in mind next year (I’ve bought 3 or 4 already this year and my husband has lovingly reminded me that I hardly ever wear bathing suits so I probably don’t need any more).

Yes! I always buy 3 or 4 bathing suits too. I just can’t help myself. Ha!

We’re still waiting for stores to open in our area (thanks for nothing Delta variant) and I can’t wait to get into Old Navy and try some shorts on. I need new ones and I am liking the looks of those linen ones. And enjoy your beach vacation! We went to the beach today (just for the day) and I’d love to spend a few days in a row there.

Oh no! Hopefully they’ll open up soon. Wow! That’s awesome that you are so close to the beach! 🙂
