**Hello Monday** {10.4.2021}
Well, Hello Monday. Wow, the weekend really flew by. Most things do when you’re having fun.
We left right after school/work on Friday and headed North, to the mountains, to go camping for the weekend.
Friday was Halloween Pajama day at Addison’s school. These pj’s are the softest. I wish they came in my size.
While standing at car duty Friday morning, the sky was beautiful.
We really enjoyed this campground. It was very well maintained. The bathrooms were very nice and very clean. Addison enjoyed the playground and riding her bike. Of course, I got no pictures of our campsite or camper all set up. #fail
We went camping with some of our friends, Jon and Tabi and their two kids. We had a great time.
We got set up, and the kids begged to go to the playground.
By nightfall, they were begging for smores. You know they’re having a blast when they are extremely sticky and dirty.
The next morning, Addison was up at 6:30. She snuggled for a little while, but of course, there was no more going back to sleep. We went ahead, got up, and started breakfast. This tabletop, propane griddle is the best thing for cooking while camping, or anytime really.
The campground is right on the Toccoa River. We enjoyed walking to the river.
There were steps to go in the river, but the water was up too high and moving too swiftly.
We decided to drive over to the Apple House to get some goodies. We managed to get out with only spending $50. I am not really even sure what we bought. Haha!
They had lots of photo opportunities set up.
We didn’t stay long at the apple house. We all came back to the camp and most everyone napped. I enjoyed some quiet reading time outside. The weather very much felt like Fall! And, I was loving it!
After some rest time, we took a bike ride around the park.
That night, we had a delicious meal of Ribeye steaks, Baked Potatoes, and Grilled Vegetables. We were all stuffed. I don’t guess too much so because a couple hours later we were back making smores again. But, from my experience, that’s what you do when you’re camping and on vacation. 😉
The next morning, we woke up to rain. We didn’t want to cook in the rain. So, we headed to get breakfast and said goodbye to everyone. Addison really enjoyed playing with Charlee.
Silly girls and their selfies.
We got home around lunchtime and unpacked in the rain. It rained most all yesterday afternoon. I did tons of laundry, some cleaning, and headed to the grocery store. Then it was time to get ready for the school week. Hope you all have a great start to your week!

It looks like you had a great time camping! We also planned on going camping, but we’ve been so busy lately that we decided to have a chill weekend in town. I’m hoping we can go camping more next summer.
