**Weekend Recap** Greenville, SC {9.18.2019}

We had a great weekend! We ended up going on a mini vacay just me and Joey. It was just what we needed for a little recharge. I hope you all had a great weekend!!

We went over to my parent’s house after work on Friday. I had to get some things. Addison enjoyed running in the yard. #sofunny #cheeks

Our Anniversary was Sunday, so we decided to go on a short getaway. Addison stayed with Joey’s Mom. They played beauty shop and nail salon. The girls had a great time!!

Joey and I celebrated our 7th Anniversary on the 15th, so we decided to go for a mini vacay just for one night. We didn’t want to travel too far, but we wanted to go somewhere new. Some people recommended we go check out Greenville, SC. We did, and we had so much fun!!

We got there, walked around for a bit… stopped for a little pre-dinner drink. But it was HOT, so we went back to the room to rest and refresh before our dinner reservations.

They had a really nice river/falls walk. We enjoyed just exploring everything together.

This was a great place for us to take a rest break. Great atmosphere!

We got ready and ate at a yummy restaurant, Larkin’s on the River. It was a really beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.

We ate so much, but it was all delicious!! I would highly recommend it. We decided to walk around a little after eating all of that food. Then, our hotel had a nice outdoor seating area, so we decided to lounge out there for a little while before calling it a night.

The next morning, we slept in… which meant past 7:00!! Yes!! We got ready, packed up, and headed to eat some breakfast. We had researched… Greenville is a foodie town. We decided on the Biscuit Head. It was Wow!! Very different from anything I’ve ever had, but oh so yummy!! They have a few other restaurants, but they seem to all be in the Carolina’s.

Look at my massive biscuit!! I couldn’t eat half of it!!

Here are some throwbacks…. of some of our beginnings.. It’s been a fun ride. I don’t know who I’d rather share this life with. Love this man! He’s so good to me!

So, that was our short and sweet trip in a nutshell. We had a blast! It’s always good to get away, even if it’s just for one night. We got back, and I felt refreshed and recharged. Next week is our Fall Break, and I’m super excited about it!!! 🙂
