**Friday Favorites** School’s Out! {5.26.2023}

Happy Friday!! Yesterday was our student’s last day of school. So, I am on my first day of Post-Planning today. 

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Wow! What a busy week we have had! 

Addison had field day on Monday. She had a blast! 

Tuesday was Addison’s last day of Kindergarten. I was a little sappy that morning. 

First and Last day of Kindergarten! 

I am pretty sure they just partied all day and had lots of dance parties. What a fun day! 

Tuesday night we celebrated Addison’s Kindergarten graduation from TCS. We have loved this little place. It has been so special to us and felt like home. We will miss it dearly. We love Mrs. Donna, the director. 

Then the slideshow started and so did the tears. Why do they have to play the songs that instigate tears?!? 

“I hope you dance” 

“Never grow up” 

“My Wish” 

Too cool. 

The ceremony was precious! They sang songs, recited their chosen Bible verse, and received their diploma. I know I will blink, and she will be crossing the High School stage. Slow down time! 

We love, love, love Mrs. Lindsey! We are so super proud of our big now First grader! 

She’s going to miss all her sweet friends. They are all splitting up and moving to different schools. 

Love you Mrs. Lindsey! You are a true treasure. The epitome of what a Kinder teacher should be. 

She was given a Bible with her name engraved by Mrs. Donna. So special! 

Then pictures with all of us! 

Yesterday was Aloha day, being the last day of school. Here I am with my Morning Car Rider crew. 

We had the 5th grade walk yesterday morning. There were so many tears. A lot from me too. I am so proud of these young men and women! 

My roomies and I all matched in our hula skirts. I love these ladies fiercely and am so honored to call them my friends! They are one in a million! Even if they were making fun of my hand/arm placement. 

We were dying laughing and having too much fun! 

 

I ordered the staff a Taco truck for the last day. We were all thankful! 

Then it was time to wave goodbye for the summer. Ending year 16! I can’t believe it! Seems like yesterday it all just began. 

One of my best friends and I were chatting last night. She said I still remember us texting on our first day of school and your response to me when I asked ‘How’d it go?’ You said ‘I’m exhausted!’ 

And, I was and am most days, but it’s all worth it! To influence the life of a child! 

Walmart is killing it right now in the fashion department. I am loving their Free Assembly line. They have some adorable items right now!
