**Friday Favorites** {9.8.2023}

Happy Happy Friday!! This 4 day week has felt about a month long. So happy for another weekend! 

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Since I didn’t share a recap of our Labor Day, I’m going to include that in today’s post. 

Friday, a week ago, we had College Football kickoff day at school. So, we all dressed in our game day gear. 

Friday night, Addison and I had a movie night. This is how I felt about 8:30. Haha! #exhausted #readyforbed

Saturday morning, we were up bright and early. I started working on cleaning and such. Addison worked on making lots of messes behind me. But, she was occupied, so it’s okay. 

We took a mid-day break and headed to Aunt Dot’s pool. The weather was nice! 

That night, we all went to eat dinner at Cracker Barrel. Addison was being a little ham. Give me all the carbs and Christmas decorations. 

Sunday, we had Christy’s surprise 50th birthday party. It was lots of fun and great to see everyone. Addison enjoyed playing with the balloons. That was her entertainment. 

Since Costco was closed for Labor Day, after the party we headed to grab a few things Sunday night. They had my favorite jacket in stock! This thing is little but mighty. It’s fairly thin but keeps me warm in the cold weather. Crazy how it does that. 

Monday, we started working on a few things outside. I worked on cleaning the camper for an upcoming trip. 

We had to make a Lowe’s & Target run. 

That afternoon, we headed to visit my Papa. He’s currently making these wooden airplanes. Just to keep himself busy so he’s not bored. 

We also put up some Fall/Halloween decorations.

We have had a very busy week. 

Thursday, Addison had Grandparent’s breakfast. All came. 

Chocolate is a favorite.  😉 

And, they even saw other cousins there. 

Our outside fireplace is really coming along this week. It’s going to be a favorite this Fall. 

Last weekend, I watched this on Netflix. It was so cute! A great rom-com choice!

    Your fireplace is fantastic! What a beautiful outdoor area you have created this year. I have literally never seen a carb basket like that at Cracker Barrel! We didn’t even know they had complimentary biscuits untl we visited one down south that asked us if we wanted them. They don’t give them out up here unless you ASK. I am not usually a biscuit girl but I think I could eat just those and be completely happy.
