**Hello Monday** {9.11.2023}

Hello Monday!!! We meet again. It’s not too bad because after these 5 school days we are off a week for our Fall Break! We are counting down!

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday night, Addison & Adalynn spent the night with Joey’s Mom. They had a blast going to eat and shopping- doing all their favorite things.

Saturday morning, we picked up Addison around 9:30 and headed to the mountains. We wanted to get started on some Fall fun and headed to the Apple Orchards and Farm.

First, we headed to the Petting Zoo area to check out all the animals.

After that, we continued on walking around the farm and through the orchard.

We always have to stop by the slide. It’s a favorite.

A newer thing is the corn filled box. Addison had lots of fun in it.

It was a gorgeous day. Still pretty warm, but enjoyable.

We headed inside the farm store to grab some treats.

The farm is split between a highway. So, we headed over to the other side to enjoy more fun.

Another of Addison’s favorites is the jumping pillow.

After that, we got on the Wagon ride to head down to the bottom of the hill for more attractions.

The cow train. 🙂

After that, we rode back up the mountain on the wagon ride. We ate a quick snack and our fried pies. This girl was very tired from all the fun.

We headed back toward home, stopped at a few shops, then drove to grab an early dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We watched a family movie and were all in the bed fairly early around 10:30.

The next morning, we were up and getting ready for Church. I snapped a pic of me and my best girl in the car.

Addison has a project due this week, so we started working on it when we got home.

This sleeveless knit sweater is a Free People Dupe, and it’s on Amazon. It’s very cute and so stylish! It will be great for the warm weather here in GA but also looks like Fall.

After going to the grocery store these days, I’m beginning to think I should try one. LOL 😉

I also can’t let this day go by without remembering those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. I was sitting in Current Events class, sophomore year of high school. I’ll never forget that day and watching it all unfold on tv. It was like nothing we had seen in our country in many many years.

That’s it for our weekend! Let’s get this Monday started. See you back on Wednesday for a link-up.
