**Let’s Look at…… Our Evening Routine** {9.13.2023}

Happy Happy Wednesday!! On the second Wednesday of every month, I link up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything. Today we are talking about our evening routines.

Most days, this is what our routine looks like.

We walk in the door and Addison works on getting things out of her backpack and opening her folder for me to sign and read.

She empties her lunch box and starts making her lunch for the next day. I start working on dinner.

During this general time, she usually feeds the cat. If she has homework, she works on it. This evening in particular she worked on Math homework….

Then, she worked on her landform project.

The finished product.

Dinner was ready, and we all ate.

After dinner, I cleaned up the kitchen. She watched a few minutes of tv.

Sometimes, if Joey isn’t working late, he will start her bath time. This night, he was working, so I went ahead and tackled bath time.

Here are our favorite Shampoo & Conditioner

Everyone Soap / Alba Conditioner

Depending on what time that happens, she sometimes has time to color, draw, or watch a few minutes of tv.

I usually work on packing my lunch and getting out her clothes for the next day.

Then, it’s time for a story and then she’s off to bed. We usually like to have her in bed by 7:45. She’s up around 5:45 in the mornings.

After she goes to bed, I usually wash my face with all my favorite Colleen Rothschild products and get my shower.

Then, it’s off to some work on my computer.

Once I do a final sweep of the house, I usually head to bed to do some reading. Sometimes me and Joey will watch a show. This is our time to catch up. Sometimes he just watches tv, and I read.

And, I’m usually asleep by 9:30-10. A 4:30 wakeup time calls for an early bedtime. 😉

My favorite thing ever, Kindle Paperwhite. I love that it has a dimmer, and the battery lasts forever!!

That’s all for a pretty typical evening. 🙂

If you missed it, here are the topics so far, for the year. Next month’s topic… Our Biggest Fears (Irrational and Not).
