**Let’s Look At…. My Morning Routine** {5.10.2023}

Today is a fun day! It’s a little link up day.

On the second Wednesday of every month, I’m linking up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything. Today we are talking about my morning routine.

I get up and going early. A very dark 4:30. Addison had a little bit of a restless night up and down off and on all night.

My alarm was going off at 4:37, so I went ahead and crawled out of bed. Already wishing for a nap that will not be coming.

Colleen Rothschild is always my go-to for my nighttime and morning routine.  In the evening, I use the Radiant Cleansing Balm which literally melts off your makeup. After washing my face off, I use the Extreme Recovery Cream. This contains Hylauronic Acid, and is such a great intensive moisturizer to use at night. It also helps fight fine lines and wrinkles which you know everyone needs.  In the morning, I wash my face. Then, I use the Sheer Renewal Cream as my moisturizer for the day.

Right now, they are having a sale! Everything is 25%off with Code: Family

These Crest Whitening Strips are the best! I usually put them on in the mornings before I start getting ready and let them do their magic.

While I get ready, I usually am watching something. It’s the only time I have a chance to catch up on some shows. I just finished the new Love is Blind season and have just started the Mindy Project. It’s hilarious and am a little sad that I have just discovered it. Have ya’ll seen it?

Then, I dive into applying my makeup.

I always do half my hair then finish up my makeup. Then do my top section of hair.

These are some of my go-to hair tools.

My T3 Interchangeable Curling Iron Set is currently not available. But I use my 1″ barrel the most.

I cannot find my Salono hair straightener to link it for you.

This is the round brush I use to blow dry my hair. It’s the size B7.

I always take time to make my bed before leaving.

Then about 5:35, I head to wake Addison up. Most mornings she gets up pretty well on her own. Some mornings, she struggles a bit and needs some extra encouragement. 😉

I head to the kitchen to start getting lunches together.

And then start preparing some breakfast which must include coffee. #alldayeveryday

Addison was not feeling the picture this morning.

We usually leave the house between 6:15-6:20. We were running a few minutes behind dragging everything out the door.

And then we are off. I drop Addison off at her school first which doesn’t open until 6:30. Then I head on to my school. I usually get to school between 6:45-6:50. I have morning car duty at 7. Next year, Addison will be with me.

That’s it for today. In the mornings, we are usually running around like chickens with our heads cut off. Haha! I can’t wait to read about your morning routines.

That curling iron looks really neat! You have a ton of makeup. I have one small bag for all of my makeup! I wear the bare minimum. Kudos to your for leaving your house so early every morning AND getting your bed made up!!

We just recently (in the last month or so!) have started “sleeping in” until 5; we used to be 4:30 risers too and I don’t miss it at all! LOL. I also don’t miss ushering littles out the door; it’s hard enough motivating my teenager to leave the house on time.

That is an early morning for you and Addison! You guys are efficient in the morning!
It is so great to take your kid to school with you! I did it for seven years and loved those car rides and being able to see little things at school.

Ha! Thank you, Sarah! This is why I am usually in bed and asleep by 9:30. I just can’t stay awake much longer. I am excited and a little nervous about her coming with me. 🙂
