**Hello Monday** {4.29.2024}

Hello Monday…. We are really on the countdown now. Twenty more days! Four more Mondays. Crazy how fast this last month is going to go.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Ya’ll…. I don’t know what hit me Friday morning, but I was down…. I had extreme nausea when I woke up, and I got sick. I tried to power through, but I was so weak I kept having to stop and rest while I got ready.

I had to go in because I had 2 makeup test sessions, and 5 parent meetings, one being in person. Ugh!

I made it through my makeup sessions and 3 meetings before I was chilling and just feeling awful. So, I told my teachers I was going home but to call me in on Teams for the meetings.

I made it home, got sick again. Changed into comfy clothes. Took some Advil and worked from the recliner.

I can usually power through things, even when I am not feeling well… but not this time. It was rough! Needless to say, I went to bed about 8:00 and woke up Saturday morning feeling better. It was a good thing because we had a busy weekend.

We headed to Soccer, and our friend Haley’s daughter brought her chicken on a leash… and it had a diaper on! We were all cracking up! It was so tame.

Love that these sweet friends get to play together!

We left the game and had to stop by the grocery stores to get things for the week.

We were having lunch after Church on Sunday, so once we were back home, I was trying to get ahead by prepping some. I mixed up my hashbrown casserole, baked beans, and coconut cake.

I didn’t have long to get things done because we all were going out to eat with my Dad to celebrate his birthday!

My meal was delicious! And so were the desserts!

Happy Birthday to my sweet Daddy who we call Dos Equis. He gets mistaken for the “Most Interesting Man” often. Haha!

We got back home and gave him his gifts. We got him a hand sewn American flag and a new Tennessee Orange Yeti Gobox Cooler. Joey had to hold back Milo, and we were all cracking up.

Addison decorated his wrapping paper, and he wanted to keep it. 🙂

Sunday morning, we got up and were all running around getting ready and getting food prepared.

I had on a new dress from Shop Avara with my Sam Edelman Platform slides

Addison’s dress is a Walmart find. Shop all Wonder Nation  here

And I snapped a couple pics rolling down the driveway.

We had Church and then had lunch after. We couldn’t stay long because we had to get ready for dance pictures.

I got these 2 selfies. Haha!

Once we got back home, I had to tackle the huge mound of dirty dishes. Not fun at all!

I also had to tackle lots of laundry.

Once Joey got home, we all played some ball for a bit. Milo got in on the fun too!

That’s it for our weekend!! Off to another week of EOG tests… I hope ya’ll have a great week!
