**Disney Fall Vacation 2024 Part I** {10.2.2024}
Hey Friends!! September 14th we headed to Disney for a girl’s trip. Today I’m sharing part one of our Disney trip recap. 🙂
We got to the resort around 2, threw our things in our room, freshened up a little bit and headed back out because we had dinner reservations.
We headed on the boat from MK to Wilderness Lodge.
Upon arrival, we met a Memory Maker photographer and got him to snap some fun pics.
The resort is gorgeous! We had reservations at Artist Point which is a character meal with Snow White and some other characters.
And then the characters came out.
Then the characters came around for pictures and a little mingling.
We had a delicious meal and the desserts were also so fun!
The Wicked Queen was also fun. 🙂
The next morning, we were up and at it early, heading to Magic Kingdom.
Walking down Main Street is so magical.
We were able to get in a little early because we are staying on Disney property.
We rope dropped straight to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
After that, we moved on to ride some classics.
We headed on to the Haunted Mansion and then made our way over to Frontierland and the new Tiana ride.
Then we headed over to Tomorrowland and met up with some school friends. It was fun seeing them! The girls were so excited!
After the people mover, we had a few minutes before the parade. So, we ran to get a Dole Whip. It was good, but it was so messy! It melted in minutes.
Then we ran back to a spot for the parade. The festival of fantasies parade is always so great!
After the parade, we made our way out of MK and back to the resort. We wanted to get a couple hours rest because we had tickets for Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween party that night.
And we blinked, and it was time to head back to MK for the party. The castmembers give out candy and you see a lot of characters and villains you may not typically see. So fun!
We did a few rides we didn’t catch earlier.
We rode Tron which was insane. So fun, but I’m not sure I would do it again.
We headed to the Castle because the Sanderson sisters were putting on a show. During the show, it started pouring rain. Boooo…
We threw on ponchos and headed to some indoor rides.
We got some nighttime pics of the girls in front of the castle.
I was looking like a drenched dog, so we bowed out a little early. We were all getting tired and cranky.
And that’s it for Part I of our Disney trip. 🙂
