Hello Monday

**Hello Monday** {7.28.2025}

Hello Monday! Here we are again! I can’t believe July is pretty much over and August is on the way. Pretty soon the -ber months will be upon us! Can’t wait for cooler weather! This week is supposed to be HOT here!

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday was my first day back at school for preplanning. Our local university is one of our partner’s in education. They delivered a delicious huge breakfast to kick off the new school year!

Friday night, we had an easy night at home. We watched Happy Gilmore in prep to watch the new Happy Gilmore 2.

Saturday morning, we had a nice, slow morning. We did a few outside chores and tidying up. Then, I tried to read and get some sun on the backs of my legs. I feel like my front side is always tanner than my back side. Anyone else?

I’m still reading through my summer book list! This one is a cute one!

It’s a Love Story

Amazon delivered for us, and Addison got right to work making an art project with the box. Milo was not excited! Haha!

Saturday afternoon, we stopped by my Great Uncle Tom’s birthday gathering. He is turning 90 years old! My Papa’s brother.

Saturday night, we ate dinner at the Salty Mule. It’s always a good choice! Joey & I both got blackened Mahi Mahi & Shrimp. Addison got a cheeseburger. lol

We walked around downtown a bit. But not too long because it was still hot outside.

Sunday morning, I had some quiet time with coffee out on the back porch. Addi & Milo joined me.

We snapped a few pics all dressed up for church.

I didn’t document anything else. After church, I met a friend to deliver some girl clothes.

We stopped at Tropical Cafe to get some smoothies for an afternoon treat.

We headed home for a couple hours and did some lunch meal prep.

I had to make a run to school for a bit since I have an all day meeting tomorrow and Tuesday off campus.

Then, we ended our evening eating dinner at Mom & Dad’s house. Addison stayed to spend the night since she’s not back at school yet.

And that’s it. Joey & I tried to start Hunting Wives, but I think it’s a little much for us. It was hard to get through the first episode. Does it get better?

I hope you guys have a great week! I’ll be back on Wednesday for a link-up. 🙂

  1. What a fun weekend! That dress is gorgeous on you- you look amazing! Yes I am liking Hunting Wives- it gets more excited if you can get past the raunchiness- ha!

  2. Your dress is so pretty! I cannot lay out in the sun anymore unless there’s water nearby. Mostly I’m just in the water here because it’s so hot otherwise. Students go back to school here next week which feels like the middle of summer to me, but I guess they’re ready. I love August on the lake because it’s quieter so that’s a bonus to the early return. Have a great school year!

  3. What a lovely weekend! The Salty Mule sounds like a great supper spot! I love the dress you wore to church!
