Happy Friday!! How was your week? Holy cow! How can August be next week?

Monday, we had to go get the truck’s tires rotated.
After, we headed to Target to get some things and Addison’s school supplies. How are we here already?
We have found a favorite new hometown coffee shop. Soooo… good! Tuesday, we grabbed some.
Then, I had to head to the Chiropractor… which is a favorite! I love Dr. Nikki!
Tuesday afternoon, we picked up some pizzas and headed to Shannon’s house for some pool time! Always a favorite!
Wednesday, we met Joey for lunch for one last meet up before school started back.
Then we met Cindy & Adalynn at the aquatic center for one last hoorah!
Yesterday was my last day of summer break. I had a to-do list to get done.
But first, an easy morning on the patio with my book and coffee.
After I got everything checked off my list, I felt like we could do some fun!
Shannon picked us up, and we headed over to Poole’s Mill park for a picnic. The kiddos played on the playground for a bit.
We grabbed all our things and crossed the covered bridge.
Then headed to the water.
We saw a baby water snake… eek!! We just tried to stay away!
The kids loved the natural rock slides….
Sadly, it was short lived. The rocks were very slippery. They all kept slipping and falling. Sweet Sutton fell on her face hitting a rock. We were so worried she had really gotten hurt. We could see she chipped a tooth, so we rushed with her to the dentist. Thank goodness all was fine with her jaw and no damage. They will fix the chipped tooth. The others were all so worried about Sutton.
After the dentist, we took the kiddos for some ice cream.
I just ordered a few new things for the school year, and I’m excited to wear them!

I love this Kelly green top from Amazon! The details on it are precious! It has buttons under the ties, so it won’t just fly open if it comes untied.

Today, I’m back at school….my first day of pre-planning. I can’t believe it. My summer break is over. I honestly feel like it just started.

Yikes! Back at work already! I have three weeks left and I am NOT ready. I love those black and white jeans but I just can’t do the high-waisted pants. They get so uncomfortable on my stomach area. Do you find them hard to sit in at all? I’m wondering if the one pair I got was just unusual. I haven’t bought any since! I also love the shirt! Great reminder for students. 🙂
Yes! It’s crazy that we are already back! Summer goes so fast! I know what you mean about the uncomfortable part. I do agree that some can be annoying, but I don’t feel like the black pair hurts.
