**Friday Favorites** {10.9.2020}

Happy Friday!!!!  So glad the weekend is here. This week has felt like a long one…

Today, like usual, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing some of my favorite things from the week!! 🙂

I don’t have a lot to share today. We are headed out of town after school today for a little camping trip. The weather is not looking too favorable with the storm coming in. 🙁

Playing outside in this beautiful autumn weather is a favorite.

One day this week, we carved pumpkins in our 1st grade class. The kids LOVED it! It was so much fun! We wrote adjectives to describe the pumpkin and all its contents.

Another day, we did a sequencing writing lesson. We used the sequence words first, next, then, and last to tell how we carved the pumpkin. It was definitely a favorite of the week. 🙂

We picked these cookies up at Target one day, and they were definitely a favorite. Monster cookies for the win.

Two of my favorite authors just came out with new books the past few weeks.

My all time favorite author is Elin Hilderbrand. She just came out with her latest book in her Island trilogy books, Troubles in Paradise. It’s the third and final one, which makes me sad. 🙁 I’m super excited about this one!

Another favorite author of mine is Nicholas Sparks. I have read all of his books. I’m always sad that he just puts out one book a year and I always snag it. I am very excited to read his newest one, The Return

I love my Kindle Paperwhite dearly, but there are some books that I like to just have. 🙂

Here’s my cute sweater I ordered from Loft the other day. It is perfect for Fall. It’s light weight and will be great for cool days. Right now it’s 50% off with code OMG

I saw this on one of my friend’s posts. I thought it was hilarious because it is so true!

If you missed my post on Wednesday, it was all about our favorite Fall/Halloween books. Read all about them here. What are some of your favorites?

That’s it for this week of favorites. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. It’s supposed to be very rainy and possibly stormy here because of the hurricane. Hopefully, I’ll get to dive into my new books. 😉

xoxo
