It’s the last Wednesday of the month. I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
This week there’s not a lot of variety. We are eating a lot of Turkey, Ham, and all the sides.
Sunday: Joey’s Granny’s Thanksgiving gathering
Monday: Chicken Tacos, Rice, Refried Beans
Tuesday: Friendsgiving
Wednesday: Leftover chicken tacos
Thursday: Thanksgiving at my Papa’s house
Friday & Saturday Kitchen’s closed!
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
Addison turned 9 on the 15th.
And here are some memories through the years.
The girls and I used to go on trips during the Thanksgiving break.
We went to Asheville and Nashville. So fun!
3. What I’m Loving:
I’m loving this work horse! I worked on cleaning my carpets and rugs this week. This Bissell Turbo Clean XL Pet Cleaner is definitely great for getting them clean! If you need one, mine is on sale right now!
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We have been busy! I feel like Halloween was just yesterday but also feels like months ago. Haha!
The girls had a sleepover while I had a teacher work day.
Addison got a fresh cut.
We enjoyed time at the Cherokee Holiday fest.
We celebrated the Veterans on Veteran’s day.
Addison performed in the Frozen musical. They all did an amazing job!
We celebrated her birthday!
I got to be Mama and go on the 3rd grade field trip to the Georgia Aquarium!
We celebrated Sutton’s birthday and went to see Wicked For Good! I really enjoyed it and loved how it tied in with The Wizard of Oz.
We participated in the Holiday Lights 5K.
5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m not dreading anything right now. 😉 Just want to savor every moment right now.
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on this blog post and also working on putting up all the Christmas decorations. 🙂 The twinkle lights make me happy. It’s always a mess before it gets good.
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am really excited about Thanksgiving tomorrow and all the upcoming Holiday things!
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
I’m still reading and close to being finished with The Academy. It’s really good, and I have enjoyed it, I just haven’t had a lot of time to spend reading lately. I will be glad to move on to something else just so I can wrap it up. If you are an Elin Hilderbrand fan, I would definitely recommend it!

9. What I’m Listening To:
Not a thing at the moment. Everyone is asleep.
10. What I’m Wearing:
This white tunic is great to wear right now with leggings or whatever. It’s a great layering piece, and I find myself reaching for it often.
And I just can’t stop, won’t stop with this cute Walmart set. I love all the designs. They are very cozy and soft. Perfect for lounging or relaxing at home.
This Buffalo Check coat from Target will be perfect for wearing this holiday season.
I ordered these Decorative Bow Ballet Flats to wear for Santa pictures and other Holiday events. I think they are so pretty, and they look just as great in person.
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
We are planning to go up to see some Smoky Mountains this weekend. The weather is supposed to get a lot cooler.
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
Lots of memories made and Christmas!!
13. Favorite Amazon Find:
Look how pretty these Decorative Tie Twists are from Amazon! They come in different colors, but I loved the gold to use with my garland. I usually wrap the garland around the railing, but this seemed to be a much better idea! Genius idea!
