**What’s up Wednesday** {10.25.2023}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month. I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.

Settle in with your favorite drink. 🙂

2. What I’m Reminiscing About:

All these Fall and festival memories are giving me all the feels.

Here is 2017.

These were from 2019.

We went with Brit & Caroline to Great Wolf Lodge. We had so much fun!

And to the fair.

And here is 2020.

Here we are in 2022.

3. What I’m Loving:

We are still loving our outdoor patio and fireplace.

And, I’m loving this weather and all the time we are spending outside.

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

We started the month with Joey being out of town and us getting lots of friend dinner time!

We went to a fun concert and Addison’s first! So much fun!

We made our Spooky Haunted House.

We had a fun Fall field day!

We had the best time at the Pumpkin farm.

We enjoyed our time on the first grade field trip!

We had a lot of fun at our school’s Fall Festival!

And, we enjoyed our time at the Gold Rush festival this past weekend!

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m not really dreading anything right now. 😉

6. What I’m Working On:

I’m working on spreadsheets and looking at student’s data.

7. What I’m Excited About:

I am really excited about the holidays approaching and Christmas movies!

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

Last year, I read Lucy Score’s Things We Never Got Over. It was great! Now, when I get a spare moment, I’m reading Things We Hide From the Light. It’s the second book in the Knockemout series. It’s about the brother of one of the main characters in the first book, who happens to be the Chief of Police. It’s really good, and I wish I had more time to read. Hopefully one day, I’ll make it through it. 😉 Let me know what you think.

A few years back, I read The Flatshare, and I remember it being super cute! It recently came out as a series on Amazon, and I just finished it. It’s very cute, and I would recommend it!

9. What I’m Listening To:

I have some country radio going on.

10. What I’m Wearing:

Typically, on any given day, you can find me wearing something from Jules & James Boutique. If ya’ll haven’t checked it out, you need to! They have so many awesome pieces for everyone!

I love the berry stripes on this sweater. It’s very pretty! And, it has such cute details. And ya’ll, these jeans are amazing! Stretchy! Don’t lose their shape! I got so many compliments.

How cute is this sweater!! It comes in many colors. I got the cream, but I may have to also snag it in the Wine color. I find it to be true to size for a little oversized fit. Which I’m good with! I do not like a tight fitting sweater! It does have a 3/4 sleeve, but I like it! Side note, I wore this sweater for our Fall pictures. 😉

This sweater is perfection! I love the style! I love the color. It’s soft and so comfy! I ordered my true size, and I have plenty of room!

I also paired it in the last two pictures with these Straight Leg Ankle Jeans in Dark Wash (Can Size Down). They are a great go-to pair! Just FYI- I am 5’5″.

I can’t wait for it to get colder. It’s still in the high 70s/ low 80s this week in Georgia.  I am loving all these sweaters!

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:

Friday night, I have a friend’s retirement celebration aka girl’s night out.

Saturday evening, we have Trunk or Treat. Hopefully we can get some things in order in this house. It’s been a little chaotic lately. And, hopefully, we can get a little bit of rest. 😉

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

Addison’s birthday- sort of… this also makes me sad. And, looking forward to Thanksgiving and a week off with family.

And, we might be able to squeeze in a little framily trip!

13. Favorite Amazon Find:

The Cavender’s Greek Seasoning is hard to find in stores, so I ended up finding and ordering from Amazon. I get the Salt-free because it has no MSG. I am allergic to MSG, so I have to be very careful and read ingredients of everything. I love the flavoring in this, and I honestly put it on everything when I cook- chicken, ground beef, steak, pork chops…

I feel like we always need something super glued. I ordered some of this Gorilla XL Super Glue, and it’s been perfect for all our needs. Fun fact: I’m not a doctor, so please take this tidbit with caution, but I’ve just learned that you can use this on cracked, painful heels. Just a little super glue, and you’re all patched up. Haha! 😉

14. What Else Is New:

Just leaving these funnies with you.

Thank you all for reading. I hope you have a a great day and rest of your week!! See you back here on Friday!
