Hello Monday Weekend Recap

**Hello Monday** {2.23.2026}

Hey guys!! Happy Monday! It’s been a hot minute! We had an amazing week off last weekend, but I’m ready to be back!

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend and part of our break.

This recap starts all the way back on Friday the 13th. I styled Addison’s hair into a heart. <3

Our PTA had a dessert treat bar for us. It was so yummy and pushed us into a sugar coma.

After school, I had to head to the podiatrist where I was given my boot to wear for 6 weeks. No fun!

But I’m hoping it helps me, and I don’t have to have surgery.

Friday night chilling at home was great!

The next morning was Valentine’s day. Addison had planned everything for me. It was the sweetest thing. She wanted to decorate the living room area and jump out of a box as a surprise. So sweet!

Joey got us some yummy chocolate covered strawberries.

He took us girls to dinner for Valentine’s Day at the Avalon shopping area.

It was great because then we could walk around after eating.

We had to stop into Rowan to look at earrings.

And then Addison wanted to pose in front of every textured wall. Bahahaha!

We stopped by the Milkshake Factory for a sweet treat to top off the night.

The beginning of the week, we didn’t do a lot of things. I cleaned, we went to lunch with family, and we just tried to enjoy our time off.

Wednesday morning, Cindy and I got up early and headed with the girls to Tennessee. I’ll share more from our trip in another post.

Saturday morning, Addison and I made our way into town to search for some baby gifts and to do some other shopping.

The weather was gorgeous!! I even sat outside in shorts and short sleeves and read for a while. I can’t wait for warmer weather!

Yesterday morning, we got up and got ready for church. Addison had dance rehearsal practice starting at 10. Joey and I headed to church.

The weather was drastically different than just a few days ago.

After church, I met up with some school friends, and we headed to our pal Bree’s baby shower!

We loved showering and celebrating baby Marley!

And that’s a wrap! It’s going to be hard transitioning back into the routine, but I’m ready for warmer temps and Spring!! So, let’s go!

  1. Oh no! A boot! It is better than surgery, but six weeks is a long time in a boot. I don’t doubt that you’ll make the best of it! It looks like you had a good mix of relaxing, productivity, and fun on your break. Have a great week!

    1. Thank you, Sarah! I hope you have a great week!
