What’s Up Wednesday! August Edition {8.28.2019}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month. On this day, I link up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I will share a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us right now.

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

So, with school in full swing around here, I have a lot of late nights, and need easy meals.

Sunday: Cubed Steak, Lima Beans, Rosemary Potatoes, Creamed Corn, Broccoli/Rice casserole

Monday: Joey cooked a frozen chicken casserole with broccoli and rice while we were at dance. #thanksbabe

Tuesday: Crock Pot Pork Loin, Green beans (cooked in crock pot), okra, rice

Wednesday: Grill pack meal- zucchini, squash, mushrooms, potatoes, chicken

Thursday: Leftover Pork Loin from Tuesday

Friday: Kitchen’s closed! Out to eat (Maybe pizza or Mexican)

Saturday: We are going to eat ice cream that afternoon with Joey’s grandma. Then, we will probably go out to eat somewhere.

2. What I’m Reminiscing About:

This memory popped up from 3 years ago for National Dog day…

I sure do miss my sweet, little girl, Pippa. This was the last National dog day we got to celebrate with her.

3. What I’m Loving:

I’m loving my crock pot/slow cooker. It’s been good to me lately.

I’ve also been loving my pink drink! It keeps me energized and full, so I don’t have to stop and snack so much!

I had a training one day this week, so it’s great to actually feel like an adult and go out for lunch… during the school day! #thelittlethings

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

Since the weather has been a little cooler lately, we’ve tried to get outside at least for a little bit in the evenings.

We’ve also been doing a lot of dance lately… And, I’ve been doing a lot of schoolwork lately.

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m not really dreading anything right now.

6. What I’m Working On:

I’m working on school work and this blog post….

I’m also working on some shopping…

While I’m thinking about shopping, I’m also working on our budget for next month. If you have questions about how we budget, send me a message.

7. What I’m Excited About:

I am super excited that Fall weather is just around the corner, and that brings out all the fun Fall festivities. #alliterationoverload We got a little snippet of Fall weather the past few days, and I just love it!

I am excited about the upcoming long weekend and getting to meet up with some great friends!!

I’m really excited about a girl’s trip next month and a family vacation next month to the beach!! #tripsarebetterthangifts #makingmemories

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

I haven’t been watching a whole lot of TV because I’ve been so busy. However, I usually DVR and watch Southern Charm and Bachelor in Paradise, if I get the opportunity. #guiltypleasure

I mean I just can’t get enough of the juicy drama! Comment if you also watch or have another show you watch.

I’m really sad that the season of Southern Charm is ending… I am excited about all the Fall shows starting back up! #thisisus #greysanatomy

I haven’t had a lot of reading time lately, but I did finally finish Slightly South of Simple. It was great! I’ve started the second one of the trio.

9. What I’m Listening To:

Silence right now, but I think Addison was watching Dora before she went to bed.

10. What I’m Wearing:

I wore this necklace and these jeans this week one day to a training I had. These jeans are still the best! The Ab-solution technology is amazing!!

I’ve been wearing these necklaces lately too!

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:

I’m super excited about our long weekend coming up! I have plans to meet a friend for lunch on Saturday. We have a family event Saturday afternoon. Then, Sunday evening we are meeting up with some other awesome friends!! I hope I get some rest in there too! Either way, I’m ready!!
