Weekend Recap {8.26.2019}

We had a nice, relaxing weekend. The weather was a little stormy, but it brought in some cooler weather which was much needed and welcomed.

Friday, after work, it looked like it was going to storm, so I put off the grocery store in hopes that Saturday morning would be a better time. We went to eat some yummy food. Of course all Addison would eat was friench fries and apple sauce. #mamatried

We got up Saturday morning, and I started working on cleaning, laundry, and tidying up. Addison watched some Sesame Street Live and put together a puzzle.  I ran to the grocery store. We didn’t have a lot of time because we had church at 2:00.

I’ve been craving this BBQ place that’s about an hour’s drive for a while now. So, when Joey asked what I wanted, I mentioned that. We decided to ask my parents to go too because the last time we tried to go it was with them, and they were closed. 🙁

She wanted to eat the lemon… Hilarious!

Then, her and Nonna wrestled… 😉

We got up Sunday morning and started getting ready for church. This child will not look at the camera.

She’s looking cute though in her Matilda Jane and matching bow. These are the best bows. They hold up so well. They’re washable and never fade. I also love how they always make MJ matches too! Addison is in the Jumbo right now with an alligator slide.

I tried to take one with her too… no luck either. She does enjoy the pockets, as you can see. Haha!

After church, we went to get ice cream at this cute, little ice cream/candy shop that just opened. Lollidrops

It was super cute, and the ice cream was amazing!! Joey got salted caramel. I got pralines n’ cream. Addison shared with both of us. So yummy!

The weather Sunday afternoon was glorious! So, I changed my clothes and went outside to work on this blog post and some school work while Addison napped. I need my Vitamin D. 🙂

We played outside, ate dinner, and got ready for the week. The countdown is on for a long weekend ahead!! Can’t wait!! I hope you all have a great week!
