Since next Wednesday is Christmas. We are linking up a week early for What’s Up Wednesday. On this day, I link up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I will share a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us right now.

Can you believe this is the last What’s Up Wednesday of 2019…. the last WUW for the decade! It’s crazy how fast it all flies by. 

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

With all the parties, recitals, etc… the kitchen/cooking schedule has been really off lately. 

Sunday: Pork Chops, roasted broccoli/cauliflower, hashbrown casserole, black eyed peas

Monday: Joey baked some fish with steamed green beans and mashed potatoes while we were at dance. #thankshun

Tuesday: Eating out- Joey’s sister has a piano recital

Wednesday: Hodge Podge- I have a doctor’s appointment late and am going to try to finish up shopping, so I may just grab something quick while I’m out and about. 

Thursday: I have a work Christmas party after school, so I’ll be eating there. 

Friday: Joey’s little sister’s birthday is today. We are going out to celebrate! 

Saturday: I am hoping to go see some Christmas lights, so I’m sure we will eat while we are out and about. 🙂 

2. What I’m Reminiscing About: 

I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the memories from the past few years that have been popping up…. 

Like at this precious one from last year….

3. What I’m Loving:

I’m loving all the twinkling lights, decorations, and Christmas music and movies. I love this time of year!!

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

We have had lots of things going on lately. Addison’s dance recital and one Christmas get together was this past weekend. You can read all about it here.

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m not really dreading anything…. if I had to say something it would be that I’m sad Christmas will be over soon. I just love the magic of this time of year. 

6. What I’m Working On: 

I’m working on getting presents wrapped, cookies baked, make sure Elfie has visited, all while trying to keep the house in some sort of order. #notreallyhappening

7. What I’m Excited About: 

I’m excited about 3 more days until Christmas break and getting to spend lots of time with Addison, Joey and all my family. I’m super excited to see Addison’s face throughout this magical time. 

Addison and I are going down for a few days to visit my Dad’s family in Florida right after Christmas. We are excited about that because we haven’t seen them in over a year. 

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

I haven’t been watching a whole lot of TV because I’ve been so busy.  However, I usually do have some sort of Christmas movie playing in the background while I wrap/cook/clean. 

I finished up Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah. You know, I was a little worried at first that I wasn’t going to like it, but about 100 pages in, it turned around. It was soooo good! I would definitely recommend. 

I am currently reading Island Christmas, it’s definitely predictable and sweet, but I love it! 

9. What I’m Listening To: 

As I’m working on this post, Joey has The Santa Clause playing in the background. But usually I’m listening to Pandora- Mariah Carey Christmas or Michael Buble Christmas stations. 

10. What I’m Wearing: 

I have been wearing lots of Christmas shirts and some sweaters from the Loft. Of course, I’m being a bad blogger lately and not taking pictures of what I’m wearing. #bloggerfail 

These boots did come in, and they’re super cute! I love the cut-outs. I did notice that they do run a little large. I probably could have sized down. 

Here I am in my Tacky Christmas Sweater. These Jeans and Those boots. 

The jeans are new. I got them during Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals. They are a really dark wash. They are super comfy. Have just the right amount of stretch. I’m definitely loving them for all the family dinners we are attending. 😉 

I also bought them in black to dress it up a little bit. Black Jeggings here. 

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend: 

We are kind of low key this weekend. We have church and birthday dinner. I’m hoping to go look at Christmas lights and just spend time with each other. #cheesy
