**Friday Favorites** {3.19.2021}

Wow! What a strange week we have had around here! We have had some fun sprinkled in too, so that’s always good.

Today, as usual, I’m linking up with the  blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and I’m sharing all about our fun favorites from the week!!  🙂

Addison was so super excited… She received her letter in the mail that she sent from school.

Addison has been celebrating St. Patty’s day most of the week at her school. This one cracked me up… she would wish for a robot Addison. Ha!

On St. Patty’s day, we were both wearing our green.

She had all kinds of fun at her school. She was most excited to tell me about the big mess that the Leprechaun brought to her classroom. And he brought them gold and necklaces.

While she was over having so much fun at her school, I was spreading joy at my school to all the teachers and staff with all things green.

Look at this sweetie from 2 years ago.

She loves playing with her Barbies, and I love hearing her use her imagination with them.

Sidenote: This Barbie Plane is awesome and would make a great Easter gift.

Wednesday night, we were expected to get really bad weather that was coming in from Mississippi and Alabama. The storms were causing a lot of devastation, and of course, they were expected  to come through at night. #always

I told Joey to go by the store and get a new air mattress to put downstairs. He carried down lots of blankets and flashlights, just in case we had to go down.

Our school decided to make Thursday a digital day, out of an abundance of caution, which I was thankful they were thinking of the safety of our students. A lot of other counties, in our state, were doing the same thing.

I made Addison a pallet in our bedroom.

Thursday morning, we woke up, and the storms had dissipated. Thank goodness. Our states to our west weren’t so lucky. Many prayers to all of them.

Around lunchtime, the sun peeped out. It was very windy, but it turned out to be a beautiful day.

I posted some cute tops from Target on Monday. If you missed them, here they are.

I have a question to pose to you, friends. We are looking for a new Washer/Dryer.

We were debating between Agitator & No Agitator. I think we have settled on Agitator. Too many bad reviews on the ones with No Agitator. We were looking at Maytag and Whirlpool. My husband began researching Speed Queen. Great Reviews. A little smaller in capacity, but can hold lots of weight. Water fills up to the top on most loads. A 7 year warranty. Made in the U.S.A.

So, I’m asking you guys… What do you have? What do yu love? Not Recommend? I need all the advice. 😉

This is like the one we are looking to buy.

If you missed my post on Wednesday, where I shared our perfect night in, read all about it here

That’s it for today’s favorites. I hope you guys have a great weekend! 🙂

I’m getting a speed queen Thursday! My last whirlpool only lasted 3 years! 😡 The capacity in the speed queen is actually great! Long story but my repair guy ordered a part for my whirlpool on February 3 and it is still not here. Finally I said forget it! I’m actually changing all my whirlpool appliances out eventually. I never thought I would have any other brand in my home but here I go!

So happy you stayed safe! Such cute Target stuff – we stopped in there this week and I WISH I could have looked at all the clothes – quick trips are the worst! Your school just does thee cutest activities – always love seeing those! Hope you have a great weekend!

We have a Speed Queen and I just LOVE it so much. We’ve had ours for over a year now and are hoping to get the matching dryer to go with it. It even cleans my king sized comforter and I just love that the clothes are actually all wet (we had an old Whirlpool without agitator that “sensed” what water level we needed and clothes used to come out with dry patches and not fully cleaned at all). I told our appliance guy all the things I hated about our washer and mentioned we had been looking at SQ’s and he highly recommended it.

We just had to buy a new washer and dryer a year and a half ago. We went with Maytag. Idk anything about Speed Queen though. Hope you guys find one you love!
