**Hello Monday** {10.30.2023}

Happy Monday friends!! I can’t believe this is the last Monday in October and tomorrow is Halloween! I’m a little sad the month is over.

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday, we had Book Character Dress up day at school. Addison was Pinkalicious. I dressed as Wilbur from Charlotte’s Web.

Our admin team dressed as Alice in Wonderland characters. They all looked great!

My roommates and some of my teammates joined in with our Charlotte’s web theme. I really do love who I work with.

Not like we didn’t have enough craziness going on, but we also added in a Cookie/Brownie bake off Friday. We were all on major sugar overload.

Friday night, Joey, Dad and Addison had a boy’s night for dinner. Mom and I went to meet up with Laurie and some other teacher friends for a celebratory retirement dinner. It was great seeing everybody and catching up.

Saturday morning, Joey met his Dad to go kayaking down the river.

Addison and I did some cleaning then headed into town to get a few things.

It was a gorgeous Fall day. So, when we got home we headed outside to enjoy the sunshine.

While in town, I found these cute sneakers. The funny thing is, I ended up getting them in the boy’s. I liked that style better, and I was happy with them.

We grabbed a bite for dinner and headed to some friend’s church for Trunk or Treat and Fall festival. The kids had a great time as did the adults.

Nolan didn’t slow down long enough to get in our picture. It’s crazy how early it gets dark now. I know it will be even earlier in a few weeks, and I don’t like it.

When we got home, we settled in for a classic from my childhood. 🙂

And then, I also saw this…. which really, truly crushed me. I love Friends… I love all the characters, but Chandler was my favorite. And I am sad. 🙁

Sunday morning, Joey got up and went for an early morning run. Thankfully, I was able to get some rest and felt somewhat better yesterday.

Addison and I worked on making some Rice Krispy treats for a Halloween treat for her class.

Yesterday afternoon, we headed out driving to see if we could see any Fall foliage. They’re not as beautiful as they were last year. I think it’s just because everything is so dry. We need rain badly. But we had a nice time just driving around.

Jules & James Boutique just dropped their newest collection over the weekend, and there are some gorgeous pieces. It’s bad because I want it all! Let me know what you grab! 🙂

Last night I couldn’t stand it any longer. I had to turn the A/C back on. The house was back to 77 degrees, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep. However, tomorrow, a cold front is supposed to come in, and it will be in the high 20s. Ugh! It’s going to hurt.

That’s it for our weekend! I hope ya’ll have a great start to your week and a fun Halloween!

You know what tomorrow is!
