Friday morning, on the way to school, we stopped for a little sweet pick-me-up for Halloween.
Friday was book character dress up day. Addison originally chose to dress up as Nikki from Dork Diaries. Then once she was at school, she changed to Goldilicious. I suppose either one worked.
My team dressed up as Crayons for the book ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’.
We had a wickedly wild day, and then we were dressed and ready to hit the night Trick or Treating. Wow! How I loved Halloween on a Friday! My recommendation is for it to always be on a Friday!
We started off by making the rounds to all the Great Grands and Grandparents houses.
Maverick was a cute Hulk! And the girls did a Fruit By the Foot challenge.
Then off to the local neighborhood to go to some homes.
Saturday morning was chilly and in the 30s. Joey ran a 5K, and I worked around the house cleaning and doing lots of laundry.
That afternoon was our last chance, so we decided to head to the pumpkin patch.
We realized this was the absolute best time to go! There were hardly any people there, and we could easily wander around. Typically when we go, it’s so crowded, and you have to wait to do everything with long lines. So this was great!
We hopped on the wagon ride, and it stopped at the flower field. It was so beautiful, and we picked a few to take home.
We hopped back on the wagon, and made our way back to all the activities.
I love all the fun activities they have to offer.
The pig races and pumpkin cannon are always a huge hit!
We wandered in the corn maze.
We took another ride around on the cow train and then headed out.
On the drive home, I snapped a pic of this funny looking convertible truck. It was a Plymouth.
We stopped for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Addison loves her steak dipped in Apple Sauce. Haha!
Sunday morning, we were up early. Due to Daylight Savings Time, we were all up and awake EARLY! Ugh! My clock read 5:02. What in the world?! So, with that said, we were up in plenty of time to get ready and head to church.
After church, we had a lot of errands to run. We went to Target, Costco, and Publix.
Last night, we ate dinner with Mom & Dad. Mom cooked fish, cole slaw, hashbrown casserole and a coconut cake for dessert.
We didn’t get much rest this weekend, but that’s okay. Our hearts are full with memories made and time spent together.
I hope you guys have a great week!

Looks and sounds like the perfect fall weekend Ali! I think you dressed up as the pink crayon is the most adorable! Then your shopping on Sunday looks like we are in full Christmas mode- I am here for it too 😉
What a great start to Friday with sweet treat!
Aww! Addison looks fabulous, I love the Hello Kitty sweater and the crayon shirts! It looks like Halloween was such fun and what a great time you had at the pumpkin patch.
