**Halloween Weekend Getaway** {11.3.2021}
Last weekend, my Aunt Dot, Mom, Addison, and I took off Friday and headed to the mountains. We went to Pigeon Forge, TN. The weather wasn’t predicted to be very good, so we were a little bummed.
We arrived around 4 and decided to go ahead and have an early dinner at the Local Goat, one of our favorites, since we skipped lunch. Lots of laughs were had.
Addison’s awesome photography skills.
We left there and had so much fun at the Three Bears General Store. Acting crazy with the bear.
We rushed back to the hotel because Addison was bugging us to death to go swimming. She had the best time in the indoor pool, and we struggled to get her out.
We got up Saturday morning and headed to Dollywood. We had on our rain gear and were ready to make the most of it.
The decorations were so beautiful, and it’s amazing how talented the designers and decorators are.
The ship is not my favorite thing, so I sat this one out.
We squeezed in the acorns. Ha! The views from the top were beautiful!
A quick stop for some cinnamon bread and cappuccino was just what we needed for a quick pick me up. Have you all had the bread? It’s one of my favorite things! it’s a must have if you go.
We enjoyed the train ride and seeing the pretty foliage. Don’t mind my look/hair. The weather was not favorable.
We had to do the Merry go Round. I think Addison’s saddle was way bigger than ours. We were all like, are you kidding me? I don’t think our behinds are going to fit on that.
We enjoyed shopping at all the shops in the park, especially to get out of the rain for a bit.
We always love the shows. The talent is just unreal. It always makes me tear up.
If you haven’t ever visited Dollywood, I would highly recommend it! The park is always so clean and well maintained. It’s family friendly, and is always a great time!
We went to breakfast Sunday morning, headed to a few more shops, then headed home for Halloween and Trick or Treating. We had such a great, little, girls getaway. So glad we made it happen.
I will see you back here on Friday for our week’s favorites!

What special memories you all are making. My aunt just passed away last week and this makes me recall the times my mom, girls, and I did things like this with her. Hug your mom and aunt. You just never know. 💕

I haven’t been to Dollywood since I was a pre-teen but I remember it being so much fun!
