**Friday Favorites** {2.25.2022}
Happy Friday!!! We have had a great Winter Break, and we are getting really sad that it’s almost over. Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing our favorites from the week.
We thought “Hope” was lost because we hadn’t seen her since we went to the mountains right after Christmas. But, she was just hiding in a secret compartment in our luggage. I wonder how she got there.. Hmmmm…..
We didn’t do a lot on Monday. It was a yucky weather day. I packed for our trip and painted this cuties toes.
Tuesday morning, we were up early and grabbed a tea for the road. I picked up Cindy and Adalynn for our trip to the mountains.
We arrived right after lunch and got checked into our room and unloaded the car. Then we headed to do a little shopping before our dinner reservations. The girls wanted pictures with all the bears. Ha!
After dinner, the girls were ready to go back to the resort and play in the indoor pool. It was very nice and perfect for them! The funniest thing happened, one of Addison’s classmates was there too! So, they enjoyed playing with each other too!
She loved the water slide.
That night, we got the girl’s back to the room and all bathed. They didn’t last long though. They were ready for bed early. Ha! We wore them out.
The next morning, we got up and grabbed some breakfast. Pancakes always for the win!
We did some outlet shopping then rode over to the Apple Barn. The river was crazy high. The road was almost flooded. One of the parking lots at the outlets actually had a flooded car in it. So crazy.
We went and checked out The Island next. The day was beautiful! We didn’t pack accordingly for warm weather.
The girls wanted pictures with all the cutouts.
They begged to do the frogs, and we gave in.
The water fountains do shows synced to music every 15 minutes. It’s the coolest thing. We enjoyed just sitting in the sunshine and watching the water shows. We did grab some ice cream while we sat in the sun.
Before heading back to the resort, Cindy & I grabbed a tea at the nutrition place. These girls were the sweetest.
We let them play on the playground for a little while. I could have fallen asleep out there. Beautiful weather!
Then, it was back to swim for a little while before dinner.
We ate dinner at The Apple Farmhouse. So delicious! If you’ve been there, all I have to say is “Apple Fritters” and “Apple Butter.” Amazing! They bring those out with some Apple julep for an appetizer while you wait for your meal. I could just sit and eat those. The girls enjoyed a few too.
That night, we let them play for a little while longer in the pool. Then we were back in the room for baths and packing up. We wanted to get going pretty early the next morning.
We went to The Frizzle Chicken for breakfast before heading home. It was so cute! There are all these animatronic chickens that sing and perform a show while you eat. The girls loved it and there were lots of laughs.
This is random, but this wall charger/surge protector looks awesome! I definitely just ordered one! It goes in one outlet, and right now it’s on sale for right under $15.
