**What’s up Wednesday** {2.23.2022}

Happy Wednesday!! We are halfway through our Winter break, and I’m starting to already stress about what little time we have left. Today’s post is all about what we have been up to. I am linking up with the blogs Mix and Match Mama and SheafferI share what has been going on with us lately.  It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

This week, being on break, is a little different. So, keep that in mind. 😉

Sunday: Stuffed Bell Peppers (with rice & ground beef), Green beans

Monday: Pork Loin, Brussels Sprouts, Baked Sweet Potato

Tuesday: Girls Night Out

Wednesday: Eating Out with Friends

Thursday: Grilled Chicken, Broccoli, Brown Rice

Friday: Leftovers of some sort

Saturday: Kitchen’s closed!

2. What I’m Reminiscing About:

This memory popped up recently. It was 6 years ago… right before we found out we were pregnant. How life has gotten so much sweeter since then.

This memory popped up from 3 years ago. Our sweet, little Valentine.

These memories from February 2020 popped up… before everything shut down and changed. 🙁

This was Daddy/Daughter night at CFA… they had the best time. We are finally able to do these again this year!

In February of 2020, it was our last “big” snow.

Here we are in 2020 on our Winter Break.

Last February, we were at the most wonderful place on Earth! Walt Disney World! I’m ready to go back!

3. What I’m Loving:

This is my favorite nail polish color. It’s the best for Spring & Summer.

OPI Mod About You

And, to prep my feet for sandal weather, this foot peel mask is the best! If you haven’t ever tried it, you should!

I am also loving Noom right now. It’s not hard to follow and do. The app is user friendly, and I’m down almost 10 pounds in a month! It’s a win for me! You can sign up for a free 2 week trial to see if you like it. If you do, use this link to get 20% off. Just to be transparent, I get $20 when you use my link. 😉

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

Earlier this month, Cindy & I took Addison & Adalynn for some pampering with Elsa. They had the best time! It was so cute!

They had a girl’s sleepover with their Grampa and Granna!

We enjoyed each other’s company for a Valentine’s dinner complete with a delicious dessert.

We had a cousin sleepover at our house! For a short month, we did a lot of fun things!

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m not dreading anything right now. 😉

6. What I’m Working On:

I’m working on some blog posts.

I am also busy planning some upcoming trips.

7. What I’m Excited About:

I am really excited about those upcoming trips!

I am also excited for warmer weather to be able to get outside and enjoy some sunshine!

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

We are almost through watching the second season of Sweet Magnolias. It has some slow parts, but overall, I’m loving it! 🙂 Have you guys watched it?

I finished Season 1 of Cheer on Netflix and excited to start season 2. The things those kids go through and have been through. It is just really powerful to see what Monica and her program do for them.

I am almost finished with Nicolas Sparks’ The Wish. I always enjoy reading his novels, and this one didn’t disappoint. Here’s the description from Amazon.

“1996 was the year that changed everything for Maggie Dawes. Sent away at sixteen to live with an aunt she barely knew in Ocracoke, a remote village on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, she could think only of the friends and family she left behind . . . until she met Bryce Trickett, one of the few teenagers on the island. Handsome, genuine, and newly admitted to West Point, Bryce showed her how much there was to love about the wind-swept beach town—and introduced her to photography, a passion that would define the rest of her life.

By 2019, Maggie is a renowned travel photographer. She splits her time between running a successful gallery in New York and photographing remote locations around the world. But this year she is unexpectedly grounded over Christmas, struggling to come to terms with a sobering medical diagnosis. Increasingly dependent on a young assistant, she finds herself becoming close to him.

As they count down the last days of the season together, she begins to tell him the story of another Christmas, decades earlier—and the love that set her on a course she never could have imagined”.

9. What I’m Listening To:

We have Alexa on right now playing “Disney Piano” music.

10. What I’m Wearing:

I’ve had these sneakers from Target for almost a week! And they’re the best! They’re so stinkin’ cute! I’m really excited to wear them this Spring, and they are very comparable to the GG sneakers minus the high price tag.

I have had these joggers from Amazon for over a year, and I still love them! I am so glad that I found them! And, they have pockets!

Similar Happy Camper Sweatshirt / Joggers

My exact Wit & Wisdom jeans aren’t available anymore. These or these are very similar to mine. Those of you who know me, know my love for these jeans run deep. They have such great stretch and wash and wear so well! I also love the Ab-solution technology in the waist band. Definitely size down at least one size in these!

This shirt on Amazon is so hot right now! It comes in almost 40 different colors/designs! So, you have so many to choose from! Also, look at those reviews! Almost 37,000 4.5+ star reviews! I was drawn to this pretty Lake Blue Color, but there are so many that I want. And, right now, it’s on sale for $22.99!

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:

I don’t know what we are doing this weekend. We will probably do a little bit of the usual- cleaning and getting ready to go back to school.

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

Addison has some dress up days next month, at school, so we will be preparing for all of those.

I have a girl’s trip to a concert planned, Joey has a guys outing planned, and we have family pictures scheduled. 🙂

Addison also starts soccer next month! Yay!

13. What Else is New:

Do you guys froth your milk/creamer for your coffee? I’m thinking about ordering this immersion set from Amazon and wondered if you guys have used them? It has really good reviews.

Multi-Purpose Hand Blender

I told you it was a little bit of everything. 😉 Thank you all for reading and following along with my blog! I truly am thankful for all of you! I hope you have an awesome day!! See you back here on Friday for our favorites from the week!
