We celebrated one of our secretary’s on Friday with a baby shower. One of my coworkers and hilarious friends sneaking down to put down the present made us all LOL. She always keeps us rolling. Love ya Bree!
Friday night, we finally were able to all get together to celebrate Joey’s brother’s birthday! Addison and Adalynn didn’t hesitate when he offered to share his dessert. Ha! 😉
I went and got a manicure & pedicure after school on Friday. Sweet Amy told me to come back by Saturday morning. She had something to give us. It was all these eggs. She’s such a sweetie!
My Dad is still having a lot of health issues and the doctor’s are doing all kinds of tests to try to figure out the problem. It’s frustrating, but we are hopeful he will get some pain relief soon. We all went over and Joey did some work on the roof for them. #noheightsforme Addison enjoyed playing in the marble rocks.
We had signed up to do a 5k to benefit the special needs children in our county, the Smile Run. We had so much fun, and it was for a great cause.
About 1/2 mile in, Addison started complaining. I’m like listen little lady, we have a lot longer to go! Joey ran, and Mom & I were on duty trying to entice her to keep going. Joey finished and came back to get her. She ended up jogging the rest of the way and won 1st place in her age group. Joey won 1st place in his age group. We were very proud of our winners!
Sunday morning, we were up and getting ready for Church. Addison wanted a picture by the Halloween tree. She just got new ruffle knee socks, and I’m loving them. Her other ones were getting too small.
Yesterday afternoon, Addison begged Joey for a tractor ride. He kindly obliged. She had so much fun driving in her ear muffs. lol
