**Hello Monday** {5.3.2021}

Another weekend has come and gone, but I am so happy it’s May. I can almost smell the sunscreen and feel my toes in the sand or grass. Whichever. I’d be happy with either right now.

I did the usual cleaning and laundry inside the house Saturday morning. Then, we headed outside to tackle working on the pool. Our cover blew off sometime during the Winter months, and we never slid it back on. So, it needed a lot of work. We drained it and scrubbed it. This will probably be the last year we have it, but we enjoyed it so much last year, we were going to try to make it work for at least one more summer.

After working for a while, we headed to our downtown area to do a little shopping.

Addison wanted to pose on all the things.

We went to dinner and then made a Costco run. On the way home, we stopped by our little downtown ice cream parlor.

Here’s a Happy Ice Cream dance.

Yesterday, we wanted to do a day trip. We headed to Fort Yargo which was about a 2 hour drive. There was a lot of neat history there. We enjoyed exploring.

Posing at the Visitor’s Center.

We ate a snack. Then, we did a little walking in the woods and some fishing. Mostly Addison just wanted to jump on the rocks.

While we were sitting there, I kept seeing these red headed lizards. I was not too happy about them. Neither was Addison.

On the way back home, we took a slight detour by Lake Lanier Islands. I wanted to check out the Margaritaville RV Resort.

These are the chambray linen pants I grabbed from Old Navy. I love them! They’re so comfortable and will be great to teach in.

How cute are these earrings I just ordered from Amazon! The pink tassel ones are only $3.99 and the Teal Ones are only $4.99. Such a great price, and I can’t wait to wear them this summer! They will also be great for Cinco de Mayo! They have the same link, but just toggle through to find the teal ones. 😉

That’s it for our weekend recap. I hope you have a great start to your week/May!
